Only came across this video by chance. My da's related to the Sweeney family that lived there and remembers being taken to that fort as a small child and being told it was their home place. Dying to get walk to it myself sometime. Thanks for the video

@@highlandpaddy2756 Yes, I heard that. That's the family my dad's connected to. I got the impression they'd lived there after that but maybe not legally so I wouldn't want to ask too many questions :b Good to hear the story anyway. Thanks again

"No act of kindness, No matter how small, is ever Washed!" - Highland Paddy 2021. Thanks for the laugh's from Belfast. Really liking the channel Paddy, a waterfall, beside a castle, a loch, a beach, surrounded by mountains, that's some wee spot that.

I lived near the Mourne mountains years ago. So heavenly. Btw you’re supposed to move those little painted stones somewhere else. The kids in my village sometimes do it! And my Irish friend from Tipperary always says fEckin!

Hi Paddy, my dad and his wife have bought Bridget's house. Did you talk to her much when you walked up there?

No. It was just the one visit. Whatever she told me I put in the book.
