Marine Identification - Too Quick to Photograph! (A Seasearch talk for Hiraeth Yn Y Môr)

For the seventh of our marine talks for the Hiraeth Yn Y Môr project, professional underwater photographer and fish expert, Paul Kay introduced some of the more common fish species we may find whilst rockpooling or snorkelling in North Wales.
HYYM is a community-led project for the Marine Conservation Society, working in North-East Wales to connect the local people there with the ocean on their doorstep. The series is aimed at people living in North-East Wales, but the marine life introduced is found in other parts of the UK so the talks are of interest to anyone who wants to know more about the different marine species and how they live.
The fishes guide co-authored by Paul which he mentioned during the talk - A Field Guide to the Marine Fishes of Wales and Adjacent Waters - is available from the Seasearch online shop.
