Remember, I'm biased against your favorite driver and like other drivers more.
The NGCS heads to Virginia for the Napa 500. Denny Hamlin has the pole and looks to rebound from his wreck at Bristol, while Martinsville veterans Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson remain a constant threat to win here.
I seen this series since September of 2012 and I think its the best realistic one yet
that was a really good stop motion and race. keep it up
WOW this is my favorite stop motion! I felt like I was watching an actual race on tv!
Wow, superb video editing skills and great stop motion...very impressed!!
DAMN this video just raised the bar a bit for guys lkke me! Really well done!
Hey 7 years ago Eric
Please make more I've watched them all
Amazing race awesome job
Great race all my that was awesomely sick keep it up man when next race
Pretty cool that you did reenactments of 2010 martinsville and 2013 bristol.
Awesome race!
Wow that in car camera idea is fantastic!
This is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant
SO many reasons. The official reason is it was my senior project, so I put extra stuff in there that took longer, but really life just gets in the way.
You hit the nail right on the head, those are the two races I based my finish on. Good call.
Goodyear Cup Series winton fin 100
On that speed of uploading u will get to the end of the series in 2020.
Nah seriously dude great race as always and u have the best stop-motion of current youtube
this was an awesome stop motion race and the interviews and onbored cameras were an awesome great idea, except the act that johnsonn was the winner!
Man what a blast from the past to end up in my Feed
A mixture of places. Most of them come from the merchandise trailers when I go to races. Some are from the internet, and a small few are from Wal-Mart back when they still carried NASCAR merchandise, but they quit doing that in my area.
Yes, I've got a microphone hooked up so I can record voiceovers right on to their own track in Sony Vegas.
The cars are 1/64 scale, the same as Hot Wheels/Matchbox. To edit, I use a mix of two softwares. I use iMovie to put the individual pictures together and animate the frames, then I take the videos of the cars moving and use Sony Vegas to add the still pictures, graphics, etc. To get the pace car lights, I had a friend from school use Adobe After Effects, but that's a one-time deal. This video was my senior project at film school, so I had to go above and beyond.
This is great quality for 2013
This video is awesome!
As usual. GREAT RACE!
Sony Vegas is a video editing software. Other examples would be Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. They're like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, but more advanced.
Wow that was worth the wait when's the next one
No, I don't have any yet. There are no places that sell them in my area and I don't want to pay for shipping ordering them online. My plan is to get most of them at the April Texas race next year. I can't make this year's race because of a schedule conflict.
Yeah, someone pointed that out to me a few days ago. I really should have picked up on that since I'm from Texas. I'll have it fixed in the next race.
I can't wait till u make a new one
jimmie Johnson won it baby YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. great race can't tell you how great it was yaaaaa.
I found a RUclips video of Denny being the in race reporter, held my microphone up to the speaker and recorded. Normally I wouldn't record stuff from the speakers, but I figured since it was radio chatter that having the quality distorted a little more wouldn't hurt.
The Bobby Labonte photo is from TERRY Labonte...
its was like a micture of 2010 and 2007 martinsville races together
That would be cool, but I'd have to build the track, and I'm running out of storage space. The closest thing I'll be doing is North Wilkesboro. I'm a big fan of old school red stripes on the walls, and I've got a few more tracks on the schedule where I've added them. The soonest one will be race 7 at Summit County, which is loosely based on Mesa Marin.
This race was one of the best I have ever seen. The track was very good. You made some of the drivers that normally get wrecked and put out of the race do well and finish! The in race reporter and the on board camera was a very good idea!
Race 6 is at texas
3:36 - That’s not Bobby Labonte it’s his brother Terry Labonte
I've started, but I've been sick all of last week. I'm better now, so production will start back up. I'm close to halfway done.
iMovie to animate the pictures, then Sony Vegas for all of the actual editing.
If I haven't been replying to comments lately, RUclips and Google are acting strange. There is no reply button under your comments and it's even filtering some of you as spam. I really do appreciate everyone's feedback, it just looks like we'll just have to wait for RUclips to sort its stuff out.
When are you making another video. Your stop motion is the best on the web
when is the next race
I've said this before, but you have the best stop motion series. Great original ideas, longer races, and amazing tracks. Also you have the least annoying voice out of all of them lol. Please keep making races.
yes.
Well, Phoenix was supposed to be a day into night race, but it didn't really end up looking like one. I'm experimenting with some night lighting, and I might make the next race a night race. If not, I'll definitely make race 8 (Richmond) a night race. The other night races I have planned are 9(Darlington), 11(Daytona), 15(Bristol), and the second Texas race(18) if I don't make this next one at night.
Finally!
Good job.
sweet! Yeah i started to realize that when gordon got shuffled to third
To be honest, I have no clue. I always get sidetracked multiple times during production, so I don't really have good idea as to how many hours it would take. But I'll take a guess. It takes about an hour to shoot a lap, depending on the track size, and maybe 4 to 6 hours total editing time? So I guess if I made one start to finish without stopping it'd take me anywhere from a whole day to a day and a half. I'm hoping my next one will be faster, but of course I say that every race.
I have the project settings in iMovie set to 30(29.97), then set the pictures to 0.1 seconds under green and 0.2 or 0.3 under caution.
iMovie to animate the pictures, then Sony Vegas to edit the videos made in iMovie.
I do. I put an annotation in there acknowledging the mistake, I guess you had annotations off. It'll be fixed for the next race.
Great Job SEAN and
How long does it take you to make 100% awesome great video ?
With Danica
I don't do pit stops in my Nascar Stop Motion races because they look hard to make, but you do a great job with them!
They're actually not too bad. The good news with filming pit stops is you have a few seconds where all the cars are still, so you don't have to take as many pictures, just make the same one last a few seconds. Have a few small things (like a lego brick) on hand to place under the cars to simulate the jack. You don't even need to do the tires to create the illusion of the pit stop. The hardest part is probably how the cars' pit stall order is different from the order they enter pit row. Thankfully, writing down the order they came in and the order I'm going to have them come out helps immensely. Hope these help. Cheers!
Thanks! Goodyear Cup Series
You can get it in the fitness section at walmart.
That's Terry Labonte sir,
No, the current 29 are the full roster for this season.
I thought last week was martinsville!
It'll be Sonoma, either race 9 or 11. I forgot exactly which one.
Oh, crap you're right! And I'm a native Texan, too, I should have picked up on that. Whoops.
Yes, the in-car shots are all Lego.
Unfortunately I can't reveal that lest I be accused of favoritism. I have a Fantasy NASCAR team, so the guys I cheer for change based on who I pick each week. Denny Hamlin almost always seems to come through for me when I pick him, so I like to call him my best "employee", but that's all I'll reveal.
Nice
LOL. You used a pic of Terry Labonte for Bobby Labonte
Will the races come out faster? I've stuck with the series for a while and can't wait to see what happens
To be honest, I don't know. I think just whatever the standard, most basic version is.
PLEASE keep making more! This is my favorite series but they are fairly rare. I'm sure they're difficult to make but please keep em coming!
Thanks for sticking with me. Yeah, life gets in the way, and races are churning out slower than I'd like. Of course I say this every race, but hopefully I can have the next one done faster than I've been going. It's my home race, so that'll be extra motivation for me to get it done.
i like the series so far but please bro take my advice
I'd like to, but I'm not sure my computer at home can run it.
being a jimmie fan that was the most unbelievable stop motion ive seen! the last few laps when jj closed in and made the move, incredible! HUGE props to you for making the stop motion of the century :)
Sonoma is on the schedule, but not The Glen. I bet you already know this, but if you want a great Watkins Glen stop motion check out DoubleEdud's channel.
Did you buy more cars for the rest of the season? Scott Speed, Sam Hornish...
Will there also be Sonoma and Watkins Glen
When is Dover
Really amazing! Awesome job!
what size scale car do u use and what website do u use to make this
Love these races man! I also like how u take your time with everything haha I can definitely relate

this is a very impressive stop motion. nice flow, it looks very real. onboards are nice. great job. you earned a sub.
When's next race
who's your favorite driver??
And its so cool when u have legos
I like how you don't make it so your favorite drivers always win the other people always do thar
Had 08 car until I was playing with it and its tire blew off of the car
Looks like Goodyear will have to go back to the drawing board on that one. They're usually pretty good about changing the compound and having it fixed next time you visit that track, though.
Thanks, man. That means a lot coming from you. You've got a great series yourself.
You play Race Day too?
Yeah, back when it first started. It's a fun casual game, and those cars were pretty cool.I've been looking for a NASCAR board game with a bit more strategy lately, though.
Whens that first night race Sean? LOL
nice race dude
Please
