This video was extremely insightful; I thought ego was good since in gave you that competitive drive to improve your craft. I will have to rethink that sentiment.
"I had a horror of the danger of arrogance. What a pitiful thing it is when a man lets a little temporary success spoil him, warp his judgment, and he forgets what he is!" - John D. Rockefeller.
My ego make me lose my friends, I was already say I didn't need them anymore...and I was regret it, I can't communicate with them freely now and they always ignore me ...but this experiences made me become cautious with my own word...I hope our relationship become better
Ego isn't the enemy ignorance is. If you loose people because you decide something that's suffering, you can't avoid it. Seneca's vague and words lead to broad interpretations even contradictions of itself.
