Great interview - thanks Cameron. In your opinion do you see the COO reporting to the CoS?

OMG NO. never. Direct to CEO. COS almost never has direct reports other than EAs

My title is an EA but I am taking more of a role of a Chief of Staff, and my skill set is more COS focused. My CEO has never had either a COS or an EA so I think I need to help him see what his needs are as we scale. We are a small start up and don't have that 100+ employees. How can I recommend some changes in my title and possibly a new and ACTUAL EA

Not sure. It’s not my area of expertise. I’d say lay out your roles and metrics. And show him the difference.
