Great video. Can’t wait to see how the planted tank build goes. Anxious to see that for sure. The only difference I ever noticed was with saltwater you pre mix the salt first. Other than that very similar. Never used test kits on my freshwater tanks. Used them religiously on the salt though. Good luck on your new adventure. You will rock it. Just a fyi you can also put in a pothos plant so it will grow outside the tank. You can also grow veggies etc lol 😂
Look forward to what you do with the freshwater tank. I find it much easier and less stressful. I have a cichlid going on 6 years. Cichlids mouthbrood wich is fun to see. Also the ever decorative and entertainging shell dwellers in a flat 6 would be dope with a multitude of multifasciatus working the tank constantly. Or a slow moving planted tank. Eitber way its a cool addition.
Are you going to sell that power strip thing separately? I'm building a new stand for my 40 gallon and I was planning on having some form of integrated power strip
Hey March for both fresh water and marine Nanos I recommend looking into the seachem tidal hob filters they are really good and also they self prime if you ever have a power cut
@16:27 in the video the green slimmer fell onto the Blue pineapple leather do you think that would’ve made it melt back in your latest video great video as always though
You better have rinsed the substrate in the Fragoon....I use the same stuff and love it ....however it takes ages to rinse out ....might be worth running like a HOB filter or a few for first few weeks and keep that milky water isolated from main store system....maybe an old canister filter for a week or two while it clears out....otherwise that stuff in the water column spreading to rest of store can become a problem ime
March I really enjoy the channel it helps me out with my depression, but i wanna say you should be careful with that cable management its a fire hazard 😢
I think my biggest pet peeve as a newer reefer is when people say "it's an easy coral"........nothing makes me feel worse than when I kill these "easy" corals! I am of the opinion that NOTHING IS EASY IN SALTWATER! and freshwater is soooooooooooo much easier and cheaper
A lot of it depends on how much research you've done and luck. All it takes is one failed piece of equipment to ruin everything. Or 1 non dipped coral to allow a pest/algae in. Once you get the feel of your tank (bigger the better) and decent equipment you'll feel like it's easy too. I'll give an example, I had almost every problem you could think of in my 20g (still fighting some) and lost a ton of corals all because the ato was failing on a week I was too busy. But my 100g gallon thrives in the meantime. I've decided to get rid of my 20g soon and plumb in a cube frag tank to my main display. Stick with it.
@ARandomTrex thank you for your response. I actually was doing great in my first year with a fluval 13.5. I upgraded to a red sea reefer 250 thinking I would enjoy the same success and it has been nothing but a struggle and I have upgraded most of my equipment.....I'm so sick of wasting of money :(
You should get an acrylic light up sign that says fragoon to hang above the tank haha.
I'll print the parts if someone can build the led portion
You should put monti’s on overflow and returns looks wonderful
I'm so glad you guys loved the name, and the tank looks awesome 👍
great name!!
A better name has never been given !
Congrats on winning!! Great name!

anyone else get a black screen for a bit at the beginning? ending at 0:54 ish
Yeah I think it was Marchs sense of humor based on the hand smacking the TV immediately following. I found it kind of annoying though lol
What kind of sand are you using?
Wooop! Planted march tank . . . YAAAS

Nope I don't think so
@@fragboxcorals so definitely the salt mixing thing then note to self thank you 🙏🏼
Curious as to what the dkh will be in the fragoon using coraline gravel and red seas pro salt
Oooooo that zen tank would be cool for a planted macro algae set up with a freshwater light
who am i to question Tia on the Fragoon, she is the best

Pull draw for ATO reservoir will be limited by the weight of the full water
The “c” or “horseshoe” is a cove?
March I really enjoy the channel it helps me out with my depression, but i wanna say you should be careful with that cable management its a fire hazard 😢
What you call a horse shoe you can call it a gulf as well!
Why is March sitting on the floor in the dark corner sniffing his fingers?
