Just a heads up, I have already recorded and scheduled some videos from the series so your good advise might be seen implement after those episodes are posted. I was a little confused if there was an order to how I should check this out. If there is a certain order or a playlist I would appreciate if someone clued me in 😊
for the order, you could check out the playlist I have made myself, on my account page. its basically just all the songs in the proper order order, where I have just selected my personal favourite animatic for each song. as far as I'm aware these are generally the ones I've seen other content creators react to aswell since they're generally seen as the fandoms favourites haha. the musical itself is also divided in different ''sagas'' story arcs essentially, people tend to react to each saga's songs in one video but you can of course go about it however you want to. but for information's sake ill just tell u the sagas The Troy Saga: 1. The horse and the infant 2. Just a man 3. Full speed ahead 4. Open arms 5. Warrior of the mind The Cyclops Saga: 6. Polyphemus 7. Survive 8. Remember them 9. My goodbye The Ocean Saga: 10. Storm 11. The underworld (yes I know the saga and the first song share a name) 19. No longer you 20. Monster The Thunder Saga: 21. Suffering 22. Different beast 23. Scylla 24. Mutiny 25. Thunder bringer The Wisdom Saga: 26. Legendary 27. Little wolf 28. We'll be fine 29. Love in paradise 30. God games There are still two upcoming sagas that have yet to be released (my personal prediction is they'll be out by Christmas but that's just a theory on my end), which will be the Revenge saga and the Ithaca saga, after that the story will be complete.
And you shouldn't limit your reactions to just gigi's animatics(because there are some songs missing, or its animatics for unfinished versions of the songs, or they're just shorter versions of the actual songs(most of them are around 3 minutes long, that is usually a clear indication)), but the gigi animatics are in my opinion the best in visual and style, so you should look if there is a gigi animatic available👍
The protagonist, Odysseus, isn’t just a captain- he’s a king. Not only did he have to think about his men outside and winning the battle, he had to consider their families, and the safety of _all_ of his kingdom when he held that baby.
Gigi is awesome but they are the ones who animated these particular one (there are many animators who do the same songs and you will see a lot of them in the playlist). The guy who is sings the main character, Odysseus, is the writer/composer for the entire musical and that would be Jorge Rivera Herrans.

And Gigi is just an awesome animator, Jorge Rivera-Herrans was the actual creator :) He's a goofy guy and he's gotten Gigi to animate for his official livestreams Quick edit: Just in case, I don't mean she is like the sole animator. Back then the musical was just a few albums, so several people worked to animate it for cool visuals. Now, even with official animatics/animations for his new releases, people still animate it for fun(and cool visuals). There's a popular playlist of different animatics in order if you're planning to look at more :))))
Jorge Rivera Herrans is the creator and main singer of Odysseus. Jay as he is known started writing this musical 4 years ago and still has two sagas left to release. Because of the love of the music many people not just Gigi created animatics to go with the music. If you continue the order is Troy Saga, cyclops saga, ocean saga, Circe saga, underworld saga, thunder saga and most recently the wisdom saga. I hope you enjoy the rabbit hole
Couple of things for fun as you go through the rest: Each Character has a signature instrument and Also the backing vocals are deliberately different for gods and humans. Human backing vocals must exist in the scene as other humans or creatures (so when the main character was dropping the kid the backup vocals were the soldiers below). The Gods do not need to follow this rule, they can summon backing vocals whenever they want from thin air & those 'vocals' don't need a corresponding character on the stage to exist.
Always awesome to see more people reacting to Epic! Just so you know a lot of animatics were made before songs were fully released, and typically certain animatic artists did certain songs, while no particular artist did ALL the songs. On top of that, sometimes Animatic Artists connected their Animatics together, especially when one song ran directly into another. I created a playlist on my account, a locked in one for Act 1, and a still updating one for Act 2, to try and make it easier for Reactors to make sure to react to the songs in order with animatics of full songs, and keep track of connected Animatics, if that would interest you. Not sure if anyone has told you about the vocals and instruments yet. You mentioned at the beginning that you liked the background vocals. In universe, gods can summon their own backing vocals. However, if it’s a human, they must exist as the people/creatures around them. That means those were Odysseus’ mean singing… and they joined him in on the question of “When does a man become a monster?” Each character has their own instrument. Depending on his mood, Odysseus is either electric (battle mode/strained emotions) or acoustic (calm). Penelope’s is a viola PS- There are so many animatics and songs to this. If you need help to watch them in order, I have one. Enjoy your journey! 🩵

Today there are 7 albums and Jorge Rivera (the creator and Odysseus' s voice) or as some people call, Mr. Jalapeño 😂 will add 2 more, and these songs are on Spotify if u want to listen too, but with the animatics are in another level of course 😍 As a way to help, I'll say every character has an instrument and Odysseus has the guitar as u listen in this songs. I'm excited to see you delve further in Jorge's world of EPIC. He's been hard at work for a good few years bringing this about and I love seeing people from all over being brought into the Winions (what we as fans call ourselves). Gigi is an absolutely master and I love their work, but you should definitely check out the other animatic creators because they each have their own style and bring their own spin on the events that happen in the songs.
Also look out for the danger motif. You can hear it here as he climbs the wall, it us earlier as well. If danger is around then you will find the danger motif un some form.
Welcome to Epic. The music will blow your mind and the story will mess with your emotions. It is worth the journey. Always listen to the music along with the animation because if you don't you lose so much of the story

It's a masterpiece (created by Jorge Rivera-Herrans, not gigi, as someone I believe already said). Idk if other commenters have mentioned this but it'd probably be best to react to the full sagas as they were released (this musical is being released in 9 EPs called sagas, with 3-5 songs each, they are basically narrative arcs that all kind of go together.) Currently the sagas Troy, Cyclops, Ocean, Circe, Underworld, Thunder, and Wisdom are released; the two final ones (Vengeance and Ithaca) are going to be released probably later this year. I'm not sure if someone did that already but if not, I'd be happy to give you the tracklists for each saga (aka which songs might be better to react to together.) And if you're looking for a playlist of good animatics that is in order and will also be updated as new sagas/animatics come out, feel free to use the one I made! Yeah welcome to the wonderful world of epic and the fabulous community of winions. Epic is mainly the poem of the odyssey by homer. Although the 1st saga (Troy saga) is the end of the illiad by homer. The odyssey follows Odysseuss on his journey home from the troy war.

Nah it hasn't changed at all. You might just be forgetting how fast the first song is. Tbf it's one of the higher BPM's out of the whole musical so far.

Gigi is a great artist, but don’t limit yourself to just their animatics. They haven’t made animatics for all the songs. ^^
