Very informative Glenda. Just one thought, how do we accomodate the possible extra length of the sleeve cap created by increasing the seam width? Do we wriggle it into the original size perhaps?
@Gillian Whaites - look at the directions on page 18 - #13 in the Dress Kit Instruction book for how to widen the underarm. Also look at these 2 videos on the Large Upper Arm - ruclips.net/video/zw2Mp43RJbc/видео.html : and how to reduce sleeve cap ease - ruclips.net/video/h8YFOXlqcTA/видео.html
I appreciate this demonstration. Large arms are a problem for me. Just wondering about the extra width added at the underarm. Do I ease that into the sleeve?

I’m curious, with the extra width at the elbow, does the elbow dart also need to be adjusted? Or leave it as is?
@Just Janice - if you are referring to the length of the dart, you might just need to lengthen it as well. It will depend on your elbow circumference.
Where do I find the printed version of the instruction guide you are using??
