So true…we have to union contracts that allow for protections that guide officer decisions in the moment. We have to reallocate funding from defense of negligent officers to resources that allow officers to see beyond the muzzle of their gun to real protection of the community they serve so they are choosing the right services needed in the right situation at the right time….
