BANGALORE: Congress chief whipp and Congress spokes person Saleem Ahmed blamed BJP leadership for selectively targeting Chief Minister Siddaramiah roping into alleged MUDA scam. He termed current fiasco is to divert public opinion from the core issue.
He blamed Centre of deliberately curtailng allocation to Karnataka with a meager 3500 Cr whereas our demand was 11600 crore.
Whooping allocation of Bihar budget to 26000 crore and 13000 crore to Telangana is before all of us.
BJP is trying to create yet another trouble after failing in recently held Assembly elections through padyatra. He said "people of Karnataka have not forgotten irregularities committed by the then BJP government."
The proposed Padyatra will not impact the Congress governance in Karnataka.
He blamed ill conceived allegations made against the Chief Minister Siddaramiah by the State BJP leadershipb to tarnish his image on charges without basis in so called MUDA scam.
