New load of commuting covers! This one is surprising haha
The other new song (namely The New Song haha "Not the eeeeeeend, it's the beginiiiiiiing") featured riffs that ended up on All Nightmare Long and The End Of The Line.
Incredible how they made it better on Death Magnetic, cause these new ones sucked imo. Some kick ass riffs, but terrible songwriting, pretty much like Lords of Summer (and St. Anger, without crappy snare). Lars' double bass was on point when they performed Death is Not the End though.

Yeah, they were very, VERY basic. This one at least had that Mötörhead-esque rhythm, I still like this one a bit. The other one was pretty sucky, 100% agreed.
I have mixed feelings about Lords Of Summer. I think there are things in it that are good, but the rest is pretty crappy, like you said, very reminding of the songwriting in St. Anger.
