Port of Honolulu disembark and walkabout 2025

We arrived in Honolulu at Pier 2 then had Vietnamese sandwich and coffee for breakfast, then walked from Ward Center to Chinatown. We went back to the ship and later went for dinner at Saigon Grill.

I am greatly enjoying tagging along on your amazing vacation. The trip to Honolulu brings back a number of great memories. I admire you both for your bravery to wander far from the ship. It's interesting to me that you ate in Honolulu while by-passing a nice buffet on ship. However, you are eating authentic Vietnamese food which is wonderful and memorable. I loved your comment about the fish heads, Randy. I hope that Kate was allowed to take her two remaining corn cobs on the ship. Awesome video, Randy! John Russo

Hi John. We brought the corn back on board and ate it later. As far as food goes, we both love Vietnamese food. Kates friend Kim is Vietnamese also and so she knows the good places to go. We cant get Vietnamese food on the ship, so if the opportunity presents itself then we will usually jump on it. Of course the food on the ship is really good and doesn't cost anything since it is included in the fare. Glad you like the videos. I screwed up the audio because I had the microphone set wrong so I tried to make up for it by annotating the videos. We are heading to Fiji next.

Hi Randy, after five years of sporadic cruising, my two favorite ports are Suva in Fiji and Punta Arenas in Columbia. Have fun!
