Use natural unsweetened cocoa powder. This is lighter in color. . Don't use the dutch process, it's too dark
Either not enough red coloring, to dark of a cocoa powder, or overbaked. Not sure tho 😁
All those are great types I would also if ur food dye is the liquid kind use the gel colors its thicker and more consentrated
