Music City Bowl Feature Story

Our News & Sports Broadcasting producers recently had the opportunity to join the Auburn and Maryland football teams for the TransPerfect Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville. Our media students were provided sideline press passes to capture highlights of the game. This matchup generated a substantial $23 million in direct economic impact on Nashville's economy, showcasing its pivotal role in driving prosperity for the city. The two teams also used this celebration to pay homage to the late Frank Wycheck, a former Maryland tight end and Tennessee Titan legend. After the festivities, our team sat down with the board member, Brian Waller, to give us the inside scoop on everything that goes on behind the scenes to make this annual tradition come to life.
