And for anyone imagining a matchup with Jaron Ennis, just know, the uppercut is Boots’ signature punch, and he has collected most of his 26 knockouts from the very same position that MM hurt Vergil.

He’s proven he can take punches, fight fast, and stay cool headed through it all. Focused and determined he is so underrated and I think he will be a big name in boxing.

Idk in that second round when he got hurt he just started swinging and exchanging, rather than tying his opponent up and try to compose himself first. But he recovered well and adapted

It was the left hook to the body at start of the eighth that hurt him. His body language changed, and the power jab that dropped him, made it worse.

I really like how all those times Vergil had him hurt he never left his jab. It's not like he has him hurt and then goes crazy on him, he still uses the jab to set things up when it's tempting to just throw punches in bunches. He's grown up and just graduated.

I also like to see when he closes a fight. I like when he puts the pressure on and begins to tear down the opponent. Like every tiny mistake they make he exploits with monstrous punches, causing the opponent to slowly break apart.
