SM is just so good in making songs that have RnB influences in it. Them hiring black producers is definitely the reason so but the voices of their artists fit in so well with the genre. Especially EXO and NCT like a handful of the the tracks in Neo Zone are RnB songs and WayV's Love Talk are so good.

There's a reason why some of them decide to work more with these companies rather than with American companies where they are based in. They aren't paid to get exposures they are paid to make songs for them. Kpop fans know some of these songs are samples or sold to the companies. They themselves track down the history of the producer's works. They support releases more when they see producers they recognize in turn the producers have a higher chance to be hired again.
SM is literally on another diffrent level, they never lack of production, like EVER. No matter if it was in ballad, rnb, hiphop, and even exprimental music, SM always have those highly production music.
