Definitely should have done rap devil video before this because Em responded to every single thing he said. Here's the back story: 1st mgk made an odd comment about Hallie in 2012 when she was under age. Mgk did a subliminal diss to Em in a song with Tech N9ne. Mgk was also on a press run claiming that he was kept from shade 45 by Eminem. Eminem didn't know who he was until the press run. Em mentioned him in NOT ALIKE; which mgk made Video celebrating by popping champagne while listening to the song. Then mgk made the video for rap devil; which apparently he made months before, but he didn't write the entire song by himself. I think it was about 10 days later when Em released KILLSHOT; which had over 35 million views in 1st 24 hours. I think it's still the most viewed Audio track (Mgk in crosshairs). The Pac line floored people in 2018. Great reaction! 😎👍
You can tell the difference between old-school and new hip hop heads with that line. Old school, stopped the video, savored the moment, gave their rendition on what they thought happened on that night and who was involved, then they continued to breakdown the rest of the lyrics. The rest just let it play.

My biggest flops are your greatest hits, that’s a reference to mgk getting 300,000 in sales total up until this point, and the album “kamikaze” which Eminem put his original response to mgk “not alike” (and was a surprise drop that he did no promotions for), got almost 500,000 in its first week, if that’s not a flex then I’m not sure if I’ve seen one

Before Eminem made this diss track MGK was almost forgotten about in main stream music he was literally the opening act for Fall Out Boy but I like that he knew what he was doing all along
A fact about the release dates involving Eminem, there are certain songs that have specific release dates for a reason, this one involved this song being released on the anniversary of Patrick swayze’s death also he was in the movie “ghost” which is why Eminem said that mgk grazed him but once he puts you in his scope he’ll make you swayze, and even further Eminem signed with (interscope records), there’s another song called “Alfred’s theme” he released on Billie Eilish’s birthday because he mentioned some stuff in the song about her

Not Alike is better. @China-decade laid it out. I will say this. Basically, MGK pointed and pulled the trigger like a metro sexual, with a sub (liminal), squirt gun. Eminem waited a long time for some reason, then, massively overreacted, lol, and pulled out his own bigger, (not a sub) Machine Gun, and Grenade Launcher, for crazy digitalfotainment, good measure, and went spasfantastik, on steroids, thermo nuke, on Man Bun Kelly with Not Alike. Basically OverKillShot. The Game (Skinny Slim Shady really a Stan wannabe,) was over before “The Game” who is a really good rapper failed his own Revival venture, unicorn dream, chasing clout. So basically Revival died twice. Keep up, with the crypt (dead), and the cryptic references. Black Slim Shady was a failed attempt to flush out ‘Em, by The Game, I digress, however, a little, tiny, minor, but pointed remark on Realist, featured on/after Ez Mil, signed by Slim, but… MGK died twice, and went Pink, (maybe purple, who cares), not the artist, his hair, his music genre, and promptly, ridiculously, hilariously, decided to go after Slipknot, sheesh. Then, he does a sneak diss towards Eminem on a feature with Tech 9ine claiming Em blocked MGK from his Sirius channels because of the comments. Next, Eminem did a song with his partner Royce called Not Alike where Em went hard at MGK. After that, MGK shot Rap Devil on Labor Day in 2018. Two weeks later, Eminem responded with Kill Shot causing MGK to switch genres into rock music.

I disagree. I think this was a little smack in the face, but he was punching way harder in the first verse he did on Not Alike. Rap Devil was a response to that verse.
However if you really want a good Eminem diss I think you should listen to the leaked version of Bang that he did with Conway. That’s one of my favorites and one of his hardest, in my opinion.
