I know the socially acceptable thing to do is love and praise a performance. As someone who also plays and sings traditional country music (including this song) and a huge Merle Haggard fan, I have some constructive criticism. First of all, the recording had great quality, so good on ya. The guitar playing was also pretty and well done. However, the song is pretty draggy. The lead vocals aren't very strong or musical. I mean no offense, and that's not part of the criticism. That being said, utilize your strengths and mitigate weaknesses. Picking up the pace of the song and not dragging the tail end of the lines will help smooth this out. Keep playing! 🙂

Blaze died when he was shot and Townes died from heroin. What they gave us was more than enough.
