I love your luck/how much the universe loves you: so many times, you find one grail, and then more just start coming to you, I.e. Jar of Flies, Appetite banned cover. Somebody up there wants you to be successful! Cheers!
Really nice collection especially that jar of flies from Alice in chains that is my absolute favorite group from the 90s!!!👍💯🥁🎵🎶 Now I have to be honest about something the only two Ozzy Osbourne solo albums that I like are the first two Blizzard of ozz and diary of a madman I know some people may get mad at me for making that statement but that's just how I feel I just feel his best solo albums were the first two!
great little collection, thanks for sharing. Love looking at the metal finds! So much metal is elusive and hard to find as so much is in collections :) nice to see one of those collections. Also enjoyed the singing XD
We will too, just depends what it is. Some of the more modern albums have some deceiving medians, like the median will be $100 but there will be copies available for $40. But we usually pay at least half of what I think we can actually make, sometimes more. Just depends what it is.
Really awesome stuff…I can’t help that I wanna scream at these finds ‘wth is this person selling their collection for’ …you would have to kill me (seriously) to take my collection away!
Don't know much about heavy metal music but this was so enjoyable to watch. Your excitement, appreciation and passion really come through. Always learn something from your vinyl hauls! Many thanks.
Good stuff. Seems like a bunch of standards that everybody has, but good inventory. Would love to see a collection of more unknown metal/hard rock but I’m sure it isn’t easy to come by. My wish list is full of stuff I doubt I’ll ever see.
the ozzy record got repressed this year in south korea but only 500 copies. People say it sounds like a mofi Splatter vinyl haha. Also is bootleg the same as unofficial? I just got a unofficial radiohead live 2lp album. It's called Radiohead Rocks Germany 2001. It was sealed for 50$ so I had to get it!
I'm no where near your shop or anything but I ABSOLUTELY love watching your videos an seeing the things you find absolutely BLOWS my mind I've been collecting for about 3 years now an I'd say I'm very much like this guys collection hunting down certain Metal albums an certain pressing an all that But yeah glad to see you do a video on this find saw your post on Facebook absolutely Fantastic find give Props to your Wife 4 me 🤜🤛✌
Great haul Dillon, question: just pick up used LP of the band called Jellyroll on Kapp records, wondering if you know anything about them…. Thanks Dillon…
Dillon has the metal. Holy hell I’m going to try and come down. Twice in less than a month. And there is a record show here on Sunday. I might have to miss that
While I know Dillon will not disclose what he paid, I'm going to speculate anyway just for fun. I could be way off here, so people let me know what you think. If there were 300 records I'd estimate the avg Discogs median value to be around $40 (each). That would put the total median value at $12,000 and I would guess Dillon paid $5,000. Am I way off?
Did you even watch the video? 🤣 I pay way more. Usually for metal stuff over 50% of retail. Depending on what it is. I didn’t say anything about overhead in this video.
I'm happy (some weird way) NOT to live close to your shop - I would be broke all the time spending all my money in your shop. Then again...what be better way to use your money than buying records :)

Cool video, wasn't expecting to see Abba in that guys collection.
Good Job ! Tool of Death And justice in a Jar for me please. And Floyds for my woodfire... 🤟
Love to see the rare city pop find haha an absolutely classic Japanese single
I have over 100 albums I wish I could have you to look at. My husband is 69 and he has all these records. Let me know I am in Georgia.
Great video Dillon! That’s a really nice haul. Wish I lived closer.
The Warrant album is one of my top 10 faves of all time!
You are a record magnet! 😂😂 As always, thanks for sharing!
Man, Not me nodding along all excited to see just general showing off videos, but the Mariya Takeuchi record!
I know! Out of place for sure! 🤣
Wow! I rarely see Ozzmosis, NMT, or JoF!

Nobel Records always dropping Gems 💎
always great to see metal and hard rock records
Local store here usually pays about 1/2 Discogs medium, depending on condition etc.
We will too, just depends what it is. Some of the more modern albums have some deceiving medians, like the median will be $100 but there will be copies available for $40. But we usually pay at least half of what I think we can actually make, sometimes more. Just depends what it is.
Nice collection. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! amazing collection - good on your wife 😊
I so wish I lived closer to your store Dillon! Killer stuff!
Go, wife! I love her❤
Really awesome stuff…I can’t help that I wanna scream at these finds ‘wth is this person selling their collection for’ …you would have to kill me (seriously) to take my collection away!
I have a soft spot for No Rest for the wicked. I saw that tour. Anthrax opened. Good times
What quality turntable would you recommend?
Don't know much about heavy metal music but this was so enjoyable to watch. Your excitement, appreciation and passion really come through. Always learn something from your vinyl hauls! Many thanks.
The guy has great taste. Curious, did he also have the Ozzy boxset from years ago? Does that ever come through your store? Thanks D
He didn’t have that box set. I’ve never had one come in. Someone offered me one but they wanted like $2,000 for it so I passed 🤣
The Pink Floyd box Pulse used to blink when we bought it....
Cool video......
Cool collection. Kinda surprised he didn’t have the Sabbath box sets
Listen to that Mariya Takeuchi asap. You'll be dancing by songs end
Always love these videos. Keep them coming.
PF Pulse … excellent score! Great CD 😊
Lol I remember the day that Limp Bizkit album came out when I was in middle school. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for an album release.
Good stuff. Seems like a bunch of standards that everybody has, but good inventory. Would love to see a collection of more unknown metal/hard rock but I’m sure it isn’t easy to come by. My wish list is full of stuff I doubt I’ll ever see.
Well that’s running a store, same records over and over again. But some of these you don’t see every day. Thanks for watching! 🙏
He NEVER gets rare rock records
That Jar of Flies copy is 5 stars for sound, the low end is out of this world. I would put $370 on that copy . Still in shrink, wow! Nice pick-up!!
Damn!! I actually have that keith whitley record in mint shape, i had no idea it was rare!
Man all I gotta say is you scored big time on this haul. I am beyond jealous I hope to find me some of these on my vinyl hunting.

You bet I grabbed that limp bizkit when ETR dropped that.

Loved this video! Guy had some killer stuff! Great finds!
Probably answered before, but how do you determine first pressings?
While I know Dillon will not disclose what he paid, I'm going to speculate anyway just for fun. I could be way off here, so people let me know what you think. He wouldn’t make much if he did unless he can turnover quickly
Looked more like an 6k collection to me, since many are likely to sell easily I can imagine a Store Owner offering around 2-3k.
Manythnx Dillon🤘
Nice !
Sweet
So, did he say why he had to sell his collection?
He was working on a Car with his grandfather and didn’t listen to them anymore, needed cash for the project
You paid $2000?
Good to see some of my old stuff go to a good place. Gotta love it! Hope somebody enjoys it as much as I did 😁😁😁
You shop owners always play that game " hoo boy I have too much overhead can only give you 5% of retail".
Did you even watch the video? 🤣 I pay way more. Usually for metal stuff over 50% of retail. Depending on what it is. I didn’t say anything about overhead in this video.
Heavy Metal Audiophile. Hahaha
