Jötunheimr in Old Norse Mythology is one of the nine worlds and is the homelands of the giants ''Jötnar''. These beings were forces of chaos that actively menaced both men and the gods. This piece is inspired by this and focuses on larger than life drums with tagelharpa.

What fascinating and forceful music, those sounds so characteristic in Nordic music, it is a pleasure to listen to it, about whether those giants are mythological? I don't think so, in Russia in Angvundaschorr Lovozero there is the famous legend of Kuiva the giant whose image was left imprinted on the mountains after a lightning strike from the Gods, great music! 🔥👍💪
