You have no idea how much this video of yours helped me in choosing my future workstation but also your video reviews taken individually. You are able to explain things with unique simplicity and in absolutely less time than many others. Thank you very, very, very much.
Can you explain one last thing to me? In the end I fell back on the GT Omega Art or the GT Omega Titan. But when I go to the site and select the model then below it comes out: RS6, RS9, XL RS and RS12. Can you tell me what they are and which one I should select? and then between art and titan which would you choose if you aim for stability with a thrustmaster t-gt2? Thanks again.
@@Sebferrari1994 sure. RS6 and RS9 are similar when it comes to build. They are smaller more sports car seat styled seating area's. The RS12 is more like a desk-chair styled with a bit more padding and an extra lumbar support pillow and a larger back-rest. The XL RS is also more desk styled but for a bit more heavy people. The seating area is larger, there is more leg length and width. Generally I would recommend RS12 because it fits most people and just sits a bit more comfortable than the RS6/9. When it comes to the difference of the Art vs the Titan. The Titan can handle more load, more power, but it also looks esthetically tons better than the Art. GT Omega has done massive price increases on the Art last year so imo the Titan offers you better bang/buck when I compare prices atm.
Hah... interesting one. I really like the GTTrack to be honest. Has a lot going for it. Loved the seat on that one. The wheels included. Very narrow rig. Yeah though one. Playseat is so easy and light. More stylish and cheaper. Holds its second hand value also very Well compared to the GTTrack. 😵 finally I would go for Trophy. Its certainly as stable, easier to move and looks good too. And although the seating on the GTTrack is excellent, I dont mind the hammock of the Playseat at all.
Great overview, with a good level of detail for the number of models covered. I’ve had the F-GT for a couple of years and my main comment is probably valid for some of the other cockpits as well: the more things you have that move diagonally and/or in steps, the more you will need to experiment with the adjustments to find a good position. And in the end you may have to compromise a little. But I like my F-GT, especially with the seat in F mode and the pedals in GT mode, as like that the seat offers good support for the thighs.
Completely accurate representation of each and every rig on this list, I promise you take his advice and you won't make a wrong choice! My theory is buy once cry once...but if you are on a budget there is a more then capable rig on list that will get you racing and enjoying your experience
Just to emphasize, he promised, not me 😎🤭 Just kidding. I stand 100% behind the list and will continue to share my for the most part unbiased opinion 💙
Thank you for your video and honest feedback! Just ordered Omega Art today with RS XL seat - 454 eur without any additional options 🤷♂️ waiting waiting 😅
Originally, I wanted the Titan. It is a sexy rig. Bought the art for price and stability. Great rig. If I do upgrade, I'm going with the Omega Prime. Great video bud!
It is indeed my friend. Just like with a woman, beautiful round curves. The design speaks to me too. The Prime will be in countdown #3. I just bought a simlab second hand so i can compare it to it since on fb, people are shouting simlab all the time but I think the prime is just a bit better. We will see. As always thank youuuuuuuu 💙👍
I use my Playseat Evolution for sim trucking; sim farming and GT racing with Thrustmaster T300 base Evo Alcanterra rim and T3PA pedals - I use left foot braking so middle support post not an issue. I have a Next Level Racing F-GT on castors for flight simming with my Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Logitech Pro Flight rudder pedals mounted; Bravo throttle with 3 flight instrument panels; Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant and Heavy Hauler button box quadrant mounted on IKEA end table with castors; and last but not least Playseat Formula Pro Red rig with T300 base with Thrustmaster Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 and TLCM pedals all in my gameroom above the garage. Lucky me eh!

Good video sir. Have the Titan myself, very pleased with it. Good value with included shipping here in UK. When I looked at rseat etc, the price was ok until the 150 euro shipping!
Thank you, and yes, it is overlooked a lot of the times when looking at prices. GTO is about the best supplier I can think of bang/buck. Do you have any experience with the Titan that you want to highlight? I am making the full review of it this weekend 😎
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Oh well look forward to the review :) Firstly the instructions are awful so build took hours longer than should have. The recline on the seat doesnt "stick" so I have to re-set every time. Very sturdy, no flex in the body and only slightly on the wheel deck. Also pedal plate very sturdy but have to remove entirely from the frame to change pedals so again takes a long time. Othwerwise, very pleased with it. Good build quality and quite heavy as uses thick tubular steel.
Just an advice. I ordered the Omega art and wanted to mount a fanatec DD and CSL pedals. The pedalplate is NOT compatable, you'll have to drill holes and the wheel deck when you mount the DD base (just like there are other youtube videos that demonstrates) is angled downwards, even if it's in the highes position. So I would recommend anyone to order the Simlab GT evo 1. It's affordable and it's pretty much compatible with much more. The only downside is that it is quite heavy.
I would love a simular video about folding seats, but I‘ll have a look on your channel. I think there are some separate videos Edit: Funny you already have a comparison for smaller setups but in my search youtube showed me this video instead. Great channel, thanks!
Yes. Its a bit outdated though. In addition, check out this video certainly. Those 2 are the main additions for end of 2023 ruclips.net/video/Ergtxd0A-C8/видео.html
Thanks for you´re reviews. I just ordered my GTO ART and should be here In a couple of days, It´s Inbound. If you add the supports that are sold separately, It becomes even more solid. A great thing about the GTO ART Is all the options for It. Like the HOTAS option and table option which makes It VERY versatile and one of the reasons why I bought. Fits my sim racing needs and flight sim needs. Will see If the table also fits my FPS needs, still need to try that.
Yes. I reviewed the TR8 Pro ruclips.net/video/8l4RxfALf6E/видео.html Easily one of my favorites out there for design and sturdiness. But for me, looking at price, i cant justify putting it in basic seats.
in another review you said felt titan seat was less comfortable than the trophy and in this you prefer omega seat rs9 what would you say is more comfortable upgrading from playseat revolution because seat gives me a bad back any advice is appreciated like portability of trophy but looks like will mess with you back
@@spaceandsky1829 the Trophy is reasonably low. It is harder to get in it but general comfort over longer sessions, the trophy is better because it supports upper legs and lower back better due to its design. That being said, RS9 is good too. I never had back pain in it either.
@@SimulatedDrivingResourceThanks for the reply is a minefield of choices just want something for around 450 500 currently using g29 but will go dd eventually and space is important but comfort is priority have playseat evolution and have sat on more comfortable park benches gives me bad back after 20 minutes so on the fence between titan and challenge
Yes the Playseat Evo and Revo are icons but not all too comfortable. My latest video is a head to head comparison of the GTO Titan and the playseat Trophy. In the end, I would pick the Trophy for myself. It is the best Balance between comfort, configuration and footprint. It is harder to get in and out, but well, once you are in it, it just feels very supportive to the back and legs. What I already said before actually. In the end, both are decent rigs and both will make you forget the Evolution.
@@player234145 am big fan of the Playseat Trophy. Price came down on them. Its a bit less of a traditional cockpit with the hammock, but is surprisingly sturdy and comfortable.
Save a little extra and get a Simlab GT1-Evo with a NRG bucket seat. This will set you up better than any of these offerings when you upgrade to DD wheels and load cell pedals. Should run you about $600.
These are basic frames and basic seats. The Simlab GT1 is advanced. These more expensive types of seats will be handled in another countdown where the focus is less on budget and more on all the rest.
I'm getting a rig to hire out for events. So needs to be kind of adjustable for short to tall people etc. I'm thinking the playseat trophy. Anyone any thoughts?
Trophy is light bit adustability is a lot less. I am now custom building exactly what you need. Alu profile rig with on-the-fly configuration for seat, wheelbase height and pedals length
Are you crazy? You put the wobbly gt omega art in first place! You even show how wobbly it is a split second after stating how stable it is, i had to make so many adjustments to mine just to get it reasonable not to mention it looks like crap and the seat is uncomfortable. I UPGRADED to the playseat trophy and it is heaven by comparison, a good indicator of its stability is that it takes dd wheels when the gt art does not, stability is almost everything in a racing rig
While I always appreciate an opinion, no need for name calling. People don't buy sim rigs based only on stability. The ART is considering price, comfort, configurability, features, availibility, options a better all-rounder than a Trophy. You stress stability, I look at it as a complete package.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource who called anyone a name? I certainly did not. Yes stability is the most important feature and i also spoke about comfort between the two and they are both easily available.
@Kudosia you called me crazy and you stressed stability while I look at the complete package. I specifically mentioned if you want stability, to take option 2, 3 or 4. Lets just agree to disagree.
I can’t decide between the titan and the trophy. For Mr living room. My daughter plays also so adjustability is important which the titan has more. I prefer the look of the trophy. I’m lost.
@David Cupra Ok Well... looks are not everything. A good example is the Playseat F1 I reviewed. I found the design beautiful but it is an utter underperforming piece of hardware. To be clear, the Playseat Trophy IS a good seat 😎 I would however recommend, if you go for the Titan, since you put it in the living room, perhaps an good investment extra would be some caster wheels to move it if necessary.
The difference between the art and the vevor rs6 is the vevor uses thinner cheaper steel and the seat sucks from the reviews I’ve seen
The seat i suspected as much but the frame comes as surprise. Thank you friend! 👍👍👌
