- moving to nyc vlog 27 !!! woohoo ! this week i unboxed & assembled my brand new couch!! well it's more of a bench but it's my version of a couch for my studio apartment lol :) i also go to a new doctor in the city, get into more of a routine,, finally use my stove haha, & just have a busy week in between my travels !

You could also get a “settee”instead which is like a mini sofa couch and has a backrest
I would have a futon or daybed🫣

What about taking the legs off? yes it would be lower to the ground, but it would still be cute and cozy and you’d have much more space to lean back on the bed.
Hi! These are the things I would suggest you do; the bench is not practical at all and you’ll find yourself not seating there because it really wont be comfortable, you should get a love seat. There is one from target called “Fully upholstered storage bench” that would be much better and at a good price, its an actual seating piece and it has storage!. Then, I would fully get rid of the bean bag, it doesnt go with your space and it seems like theres no space for it. And last, Im not sure if it would actually fit but from the video it seems like it would; I would move the cubby furniture to next to the closet where you currently have that little cart, and would leave the space by the window open so it doesn't look so cluttered.

A little under cabinet mounted light strips (stick on) would give your counters light and be great evening mood lighting for your home.

I love the bench! Everyone can give you suggestions but if it is your vision then you do whatever makes you happy! I love your place! And as you said in another video you don’t want to put any holes or mount your TV which is smart! ❤️

I love the bench you bought as a bench for putting on your boots/shoes or as a coffee table. If you had space it could be cute with a tray on it and some coffee table books. As for seating to watch TV, I’m thinking kitchen table or bed unless you do what you really don’t want to do and turn your bed and put it close to the wall. If you did that you could get a loveseat and use it as a room divider to give yourself a bit of separation between your sleeping space and TV watching/sitting space.

You could get 2 oblong pillows to place at the foot of your bed (on a bench) for a seating situation. The pillows would serve as a back to lean against.

Lucia, you just got out of a long term relationship.. Give yourself some time to rest and really settle in. Enjoy being single for now..there’s nothing wrong with that. Also please go get your blood work done sooner than later to make sure everything is ok. You shouldn’t be that tired all the time. Love your videos!!❤️🌺

Plan date and friends on the same days! Its honestly more fun to go on a date knowing you're meeting up with friends afterwords to debrief. And if the date is awful you have an excuse to leave lol

Hi Lucia, native New Yorker here: NYC water is some of the best and safest in the country! You can definitely drink the tap water and there is no need for you to get so many water bottles in the future. Congrats on your move!

@@LuciaCordaro Nope, not a myth. If you want it cold a Brita would work but I now live in Chicago and think the tap weather in NY is much better than Chicago. It’s really some of the best out there - that’s why NYC pizza and bagels are thought to be so good! They have quality reports on the NYC gov website that show how clean it is but seriously all New Yorkers drink the water, it’s the best and so so clean.

I think the bench was a good idea, but I think you'll want something comfier. Any chance if you got rid of the little green ottomans and bean bag, you could fit in a small upholstered chair?

Hi, I think that bench is pretty but not really practicable. I think you should have got an easy chair to sit in and read or watch T.V. and it should be where you put that white chest of draws is. Still think you should mount the T.V. on the small wall between your bedroom area and the kitchen where you can pull it out and see it from the kitchen sitting in the easy chair your bed etc. Because your apartment is so small what ever you put in it should meet more than one need and not just look pretty. The bench has no storage in it. Have you ever watched the vlogs of the designers of small apartment vlogs.? I will no longer give suggestions but will continue to watch your vlogs as I enjoy your energy, Have great day Lucia.
I agree with your suggestion to mount the t.v. I also think the pink mirror should be mounted. Hire a Task Rabbit if it's too much for you to do on your own. It would be for me. 😊

Lucia, 7 pads to remove makeup🤔 seems like you could be stripping the oils in your face, wouldn’t it be easier to wash your face? Not judging, just curious
@@Cheri94 I wash my face afterwards! Idk this is just what works for me to get it all off first
I was going to ask the same. If you're having skin problems, it could be from all the layers of makeup that you're using.
@@LuciaCordarohave you tried cleansing balms as a first cleanse to remove makeup/suscreen? The Elemis naked one is amazing, it’s unscented and very gentle yet effective. It’s pretty hydrating and takes off absolutely every bit of makeup. Much better for the environment too since you don’t need cotton rounds for it!

You can get your right AirPod replaced if you go to the Apple Store. If your AirPods are insured it shouldn’t be too much maybe like 30 bucks. If they aren’t it’ll probably cost around 60-70

For some reason there kept being full minute long ad breaks throughout this video. Is this a setting you can control? If so, could you do shorter ads with an option to skip?

You’re very active (which is great) but I’m wondering whether you’re feeling so tired because you’re not eating enough throughout the day. What you’ve shown in previous vlogs seems like enough for someone with a sedentary lifestyle but you are very on the go, all the time. Food is fuel etc etc
