Quick Update: Hi Friends, It's Been A While.

- Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. I realise I never even gave Nat an "honourable mention" in the video.
She's doing really well and is an assistant/studying photographer for our biz (www.thepurpleturtlebiz.com.) She has also been playing a LOT of great Nintendo games, I should probably just hand the channel over to her... seriously though she ADORED Dragon Quest 11 and was reminded how frustrating Mario 64 can be when getting all 120 stars.
We've both also been playing SO much Ring Fit Adventure, so much so I think our ring-con is actually broken as it can't get to 100% pressure anymore.
I hope you're all well, I'd love to know what you've been up to over the past 12 months!

Us House of Mario boys have often asked each other if we know how you're going so I'm glad you put this out.
I'm really glad that both you and Nat have made something out of the time you spent doing RUclips, your work was becoming extremely impressive by the end of the 12 month span and it was absolutely awesome to see.
Keep up the good work, both of you. This year has been a bit rough on everyone, but next year we will have to catch up when we're in the area. Much love.

Life comes first, I think we all understood that. It’s great to see you though and hear about the successes you’ve had in the interim. It doesn’t always work out that way for people but I am very glad that you and Nat are getting great, it’s well earned by the sounds of it. 🙂

I'm glad you are trying to do what you want to do in life, hopefully all goes well. Take your time and if you get back to doing videos, great, if not I guess that means you are working on doing what you need to(and that's all we can do). I just wan to say i truly did enjoy your videos, especially the earlier ones. I'm not sure what happened part way through "nintendo by the numbers", if it was frustration that the channel hadn't grown as much as you had hoped or if you were starting to have financial issues but it seemed to carry over into the videos aswell. Sorry for running on and on, bottom line is, just do what you need to, I'm sure most of your subscribers will stick around for a possible come back one day.

Dude! So good to hear from you after so long, like for real! Glad you and Nat are doing okay. I must say man, every time you speak it really rings with me, I have many of the exact same thoughts. I've even thought about calling things for now and just editing for others that might need it. Same reasons, I got so into making things perfect I wasn't playing the games I was trying to cover:P That and Leon is only getting bigger and bigger and my time is getting less and less. Well I'll keep this short and just say being real, it's nice to see a relatable face again even if it's just this one video for now lol. Keep being you and you'll succeed in life like I've said many times and will always say. Hope to hear from you again soon and more than anything I hope this works out for you, best of luck my friend!
Thanks Aaron, it's super good to hear from you again as well! I'm glad you can relate because fun fact - I actually cut a snippet out that said "I wonder if any of you can relate" as sometimes these thoughts can feel isolating. 2020 has had enough of that haha.

You're definitely not crazy! I went through a period where I disabled all the comments on videos, then I removed them, then I put most of them back up still without comments... it's been a little bit of an emotional rollercoaster to say the least.
Anyway, you're right, that past video said I didn't have the savings to keep this going full-time, so I went back to work. :)
