Reminds me of pro wrestling in the original Nintendo. Back in grade school my friend and I would play it for hours. I was great panther and he was star man.
I remember getting 2.29 million points i this game. Took me 4.5 hours to get it. I got well over 100 matches and when the 100th match started, the numbers changed to symbols.

1:08:58 To show you where, when and how I grew up: Born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Japanese-American. That means, I was in the 7th grade when this game came out. Especially when you get through a good number of fights, this "Game Over Music" kind of chokes me up! It signals the end of a good long game. And, the way Cory cheers for you, openly roots for you, and then hangs his head at Game Over, you kind of feel like you let Cory down!
As a little kid playing this in the arcade, I once got to the 56th match and was attracting a large crowd. My mom found me in the arcade after work though and beat my ass and pulled me away from the machine because I wouldn't leave.
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. For a moment, I thought your mother was upset about you playing video games. Back then, a lot of parents weren't happy with kids "wasting money" playing video games.
@@unappealingundesirable2826 It was mainly because I was told to be home about an hour earlier and I was in the arcade and she was looking for me and couldn't find me. She didn't mind the arcade, it was that I disobeyed her. She had a point, but man I wish I could've kept going on that game.
1:08:58 I was born in 1973. I have long thought that I'd live to be 48, and pass away in 2021. I have long planned my 2021 funeral. I want it to be MUSIC based: Video games music, sports music, music from commercials, Christmas music, kid songs, Japanese kid songs, NBA on CBS, NBA on NBC. I thought about this: The Mat Mania "Game Over Music" is PERFECT to end it! On the video, you play that song, and it reads "1973-2021." Kind of like how Mat Mania ends.
Still the best wrestling arcade game ever

I always used Fighter Hayabusa. Loved using his back brain kick

That's pretty good. In 1990 I played a game to 71 matches, over a million points and we both (Coco Savage) got counted out so I was still the champ. 😀
Very Dope. #NoDoubt
*Savege
Coco Savege always wins in the end. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Great playing, love it, reminded me when I was 13. Cheers
This was such a fun wrestling game. Wish it had a few more characters though.

99th game es lo máximo que cuenta este juego... después de lograr eso con 5 duros, no me dejaron entrar más en esos recreativos. 😥😅🤣
A guy called Lumbo played this for 12 hours and maxed out the score. How he had the stamina to pull it off is unbelievable

I'd this game beatable or does it loop infinitely?
Not sure which was developed first, this or Pro Wrestling for the NES. But man, did one copy the other or what.
Pro Wrestling on NES was a bad port of Tag Team Wrestling arcade.
Yes
