I love this interview and Maggi’s way of responding. So down to earth and not at all pretentious. So glad to have found this video.

I was quite concerned to hear about Maggi Hambling’s recent health problems. Hope she can get her health back on track. I’ve come to know what Ms Hambling means when she says “he/she’s very bright” to an interviewer.

Before she quit smoking, she reminded me of David Hockney & he of her…..the way they talk about art & the accent, the smoking, stylish clothing…..like two peas in a pod.

I hope she writes her autobiography. Maggi has a peacock like personality. No cow shit at all. I would love to read her story

She seems to have drunk the American Cooley , simply repeating the scare stories , not a character I find at all appealing ! Why do people assume an artistic talent comes with being a someone special , I find so many artists ego driven !
