Listening to each of your videos is like sitting in on a university class. For free, no tuition! If you don't already have a doctorate, you should. And you should be lecturing at a university as well! Excellent work as always.

Just beautiful... I did a master's in peace studies and this was put together so comprehensively, brava!
Softened some of my discouragement after 2 years of studying things that didn't work ; )
The great thing about astrology is it tamps down our inclination to decide this is just the way things are .. no, everything runs in cycles and they actually make a lot of sense.
    Love your channel.

I minored in Sociology in college , and I, too, am very interested in how Pluto in Aquarius is going to affect certain groups.
For example-I am specifically curious on how AI/ robots will affect subcultures such as,I don’t know, Appalachians AKA people who live on the “outskirts” of “normal” society. Like, how are THEY going to adapt to all of this technology? Or anyone who is on that whole “off the grid” living/ of that mindset??! Maybe they will end up being the “safe havens” for those who want to escape the world of ever changing technology? I’m so curious!
Great, thorough, unbiased research as usual, Shannon! Again, I’m so glad I found your channel!

Those are such great questions. When I hear about some of the worst case scenarios of the Yarvin/Musk/Trump vision of the world, I really wonder whether off-gridding will even be possible. I pray it would be, somehow. It’s been on my mind a lot recently.

Hoping that the continuation of understanding respiration back then is finally coming to see the need for CLEAN AIR just like we've learned about clean water to prevent disease. Ventilation/HEPA or similar filtration as a standard would transform so many airborne disease threats as well as overall health from being in these stuffy (high CO2) spaces that literally cause sleepiness and cognitive decline. So interesting thank you!

The whole idea of outer planet transits seem daunting because they span generations. Placing eras or periods of intellectual / social thought or change side by side to show Pluto’s effect on societies and the kinds of social, economic and political changes over time is very helpful! Thanks for making this more digestible. It’s an area that I do struggle to “contain” at a mental level and this helps break things down.

I’ve been meditating on Pluto on society too. I’m not a sociologist as you, just a deep thinker. Mostly how Pluto in Leo because it’s the opposite of Aquarius. Atomic bombs, suburbs, the monument of “me”, all the factories, a car for everyone, and a church/school on each corner for the babies born. New highways and the beginning of global warming (ozone). We haven’t healed these yet.
I love this channel and so glad I found you
(Pluto in Capricorn will always be “you’re in a cult” (especially with influencers and social media, government and narcissistic behaviors [especially in divine males]).

24:15 the borg definitely was introduced first in TNG, when Picard and his crew were visited by Q. He’s the one who flung the Enterprise into the path of a Borg cube.
But seven of nine was a character from Voyager 😊

I think they are currently processing 😣 I usually “schedule” videos, and so RUclips already processes everything by the time the video is published. And you’ve just definitely pointed out another reason to do that instead of immediately publishing - so I will go back to doing that!

Technology is inevitable, but not necessarily progress.

  • @Xming133

So, animal rights and veganism. I heard your hesitation when 'confessing' you are not clean and not a vegan. Why not? The awareness of the planetary energy should be enough for you to make it happen. When I was young my mom told me to be kind to animals. You cannot be kind to them if you eat them. That being said, I resonate with your brain. I like it.

    • @Sociastrology

People hesitate when saying that because vegans are extremely evangelical.

    • @AWSVids
      @AWSVids Месяц назад

People always say this when they’re imagining the future. When we actually get to living it, we realize that it’s not all that different when it comes to the bare essentials of life… a lot of stuff just gets more convenient, more accessible, etc… the downsides are usually just a different form of the same problems we’ve always been dealing with… namely, that about half of people tend to suck and find ways to be annoying or horrible with new technological capabilities… but we always more or less make it through, and in the long run, life is always better in modern day than it was in the past. You wouldn’t want to live without electricity or indoor plumbing today, but if you described today’s world to someone from 250 years ago, they’d imagine it as a hellish dystopia too. And they’d be partially right… but mostly wrong.
