- In this week's video my sister Reagan and I are doing the Art Swap Challenge! We are going to be working on two illustrations and we keep swapping after drawing a particular part. Like we both sketch the head and then swap, we both draw the torso and then swap....and so on! We are doing this art challenge in Clip Studio Paint!

When I first heard the word billowing I thought a big poofy dress with lots of layers of fabric flowing over each other and fluffing in the wind, so i drew a little something in my sketchbook 🥰 thanks for inspiring me, I love both of the drawings 💖

What usually helps me is figuring out where that creative block is coming from, lack of motivation, inspiration, or putting too much pressure on myself, and trying things to counteract that usually by watching other artists, looking up references for things to draw, and trying my best to have fun 😊

This was really amazing to watch. As you were drawing them I kept thinking about the characters and I thought how cool would it be to say they are actually siblings that were separated? For well reasons. And the fellow goes on a trip and winds up running into her. Thanks for the fun and for the inspiration!
First off, you and your sister are very talented artists! It’s also kinda awesome that you and your sister share a brain cell when it comes to art.
Second off, I have another art idea {because I did this with my ocs}. You should draw your ocs with different aesthetics like Doris with the Dark Academia aesthetic ^^

This was so fun to watch! You both seem to think in similar ways, which made it more interesting to watch. I wish I had someone to do this with, but my art style is way too different from my friend's art.

I imagine as a mini story for the guy that he is a spoiled rich boy (around 17 or so because he looks like it) in maybe the 1700's (because of his clothes) and he wants to explore the ocean like you said, but he doesn't know how to sail a ship, so he has a friend with him. (To him maybe this person is just a servant or something😅) and in the scene where the picture is taking place they're at the place where they are going to get on the ship, and the person is trying to teach him something and he's just like: "Hey, don't worry. I'm the sailor, and I got this! You're just my assistant." And that's how we get the confident pose and everything.😅

The three of us would draw something first and then pass it around and add on to it. It always ends up being a crazy,funny, chaotic drawing 🤣🤣

I love how the art turned out! You and Reagan should do this again sometimes, maybe using a random generator or your other siblings to decide what to draw (p.s this is just a suggestion, do what you want :-).

Idk if anyone will see this but my headcanon for the male character is that he's trying to convince a group of grizzly sea men and women to let him join them on an adventure (even tho they're fishermen, not pirates lol) and they're like "Why should we do that" and he strikes that pose and says "Because I'm ___, the son of this very important rich person" like he's a spoiled rich kid or smt xD

your art styles are similar yet you can still tell the difference on which parts each of you drew and i think that’s why they turned out so well since you guys have similar styles and share brain cell 😂❤
*now you gotta make a story with both the characters, like maybe the pirate boy heard legends of this forest goddess and wanted to see for himself-*

Both of your art is AMAZING-
This was a very cool challenge I liked the way you split up the drawings, and the fact you know each other so well it leads to a very cool hand off where you can lean things in the direction that your sibling will appreciate and it makes the picture not look like a disjointed mess even though it very easily could, I would Love to see more of these
I sketch on my iPad I always watch you while making my art lol ty for basically teaching me how to do layover sketchs

Idk why I’m doing this but I feel like this is how these two would be in a story
Living in the concrete walls, (idk what his name should be let’s call him idk Tim) he always desired to be with the sailing winds of the sea, and the trashing sound of water hit his feet, but even if he tried his father would never allow him, every time he tried to escape, just to see the waves again.
Until one day, when his maid was getting replaced he sneaked out of the cream colored walls, and finally made it to the sea, the place smelled like fresh sea salt and fresh fish fishermen had gotten that day. He kept walking until he had gotten to a small boat about the size of his room, he remarked in his mind “this boat is quite small” but still climbed on board.
A guy in his mid 20’s wearing a sailors outfit climbed on board, he had a little goatee but still looked fairly young with his soft brown eyes and his dark jet black hair
“You paying?” The mid 30’s guy replied carefully looking up and down at the guy
(Tim idk) Looked at him in confusion “ of course I mustn’t need any money , after all I am the son of the richest guy in this town” he whined standing up abruptly, “ I guess I might just hop on another ship and get out of this place”
The guys eyes opened “uh- wait kid, don’t go, even if you can’t pay, JUST stay on board”
*I can’t complete this anymore because I’m tired, but what was going to happen was that the ship crashed on a island and the ship guide person was not there and when he goes to the island he stumbles across the girl in the video, sorry if this is bad*
I really enjoyed this video and it inspired me to write something and draw something, thank you Love2drawmanga for the amazing content you’ve always given us.
Lol this looks really interesting and fun to try out with siblings/friends, i kinda like how at some parts the both of you guys' braincells are sorta connected (siblings lol)

Great video and I really love the drawing collaboration between the sisters, you should really do it again ;) I got this idea. Reagan can do the coloring after your line art sketch and you can do the coloring after her line art sketch.
