My mom got into a fatal crash when I was 4 years old. It was the same for my family with the uncertainty of not knowing if she would wake and when she did her motor skills were similar. She didnt wake for weeks and it’s assumed the longer your in a coma the less likely to wake up or have a good prognosis. She never gained the ability to fully speak in sentences, wheelchair bound and peg tube fed until she recently passed at 44. She was 21 when she got into the accident. It’s remarkable this young woman had such success in her is finding purpose even in her strife. God had other plans for you Bridie, you’re a blessing.
