Upgraded the Highbanker with a 24” sluice extension, and Dream Mat Dredge Mat. We find a lot of gold, seriously unexpected amount of gold for only 1.5 tanks of gas.

One thing might help is since your only finding fine gold would be to prep your area before starting dredging because running the dredge with no material will wash out fine gold ..
We typically do this, we clear the large rocks first and go in with the dredge after we have done that

Unfortunately I wish that was in ounces, we don’t have that much gold down here. .33 grams, but still a good day for us as we deal with mainly small gold

Trust me, I see where you are going with the thought process and I like it. I am very mechanically inclined and I imagine you are too based on that comment, I constantly think of stuff throughout the day of how to make new equipment, water powered trommels, water powered conveyers… all using the same water pressure I’m currently using… the possibilities….

Probably not, but I got it so I can run the 2” dredge nozzle soon. More volume

1.5 tanks of gas is probably 5x the price of the gold you found though. That's not worth firing up the pump.
It’s about more than just the gold price, it’s the experience and sharing that experience with the world and my family for generations to come. I keep all my gold, to pass down from one generation to the next with a RUclips and Instagram “journal” of where and how much we found in each locations, that is PRICELESS. it’s a legacy I’m passing down, an art passed down to us from the first American Gold rush right here in NC
And 1.5 gallons of gas is roughly $1.50? We found much more than that.
What gas are you using? Regular Gas in NC is over $3/gallon.

Not sure, we didn’t have time to do a separate cleanup. Pretty much the hopper catches 90% of the gold. I’ll be testing this out tomorrow when we go out

Where did you get your pressure hose? And who makes it? The pressure hose. I’ve been finding is white. And extremely stiff. Not very flexible.
Harbor freight, I just use the 1” hose from harbor freight and it works great
