what I loved about the 90s was there were so many unique but still powerful R&B voices and this group was one of them
Indeed. The 90's was a great decade for R&B. Shai, H-Town, Silk, Boyz 2 men, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Az yet, All 4 one, 4 Xample etc. And that doesn't even count the female groups like En Vogue, SWV, Xscape, Zhane, Changing faces, etc. So much great music came out in the 90's and this list doesn't even include the solo artists. I sometimes wish I could go back to that time.

@@bobbybrown1002Unfortunately, KCi is the only one that can sing in Jodeci. His brother can no longer sing and health issues. Silk would get them now and back then...
@bobbybrown1002 Silk had better voices and more of a "true" harmony, but Jodeci had the "it factor" in Devante Swing who knew how 2 ARRANGE those harmonies. Bobby Brown wasn't the best vocalist in NE, but he was most definitely the biggest star bc of that it factor.
G was holding bàck but it was still a great performance by an amazing group collectively.
They sound great even after all these years, and Lil G is as amazing on the piano as he is with his vocals.
