If glass slide is used in place of counting chamber; what will be the method of counting cell?

Counting chamber has a measurement of the volume of sample used for counting cells. CSF samples normally have very few cells and needs to be concentrated before making a stained smear, no methods available to count cells from direct smear.

May I know the normal range of wbc per field for such fluid please

Below 5 cells per cu.mm is normal, you may not see WBC in all fields. Thanks for watching.

​@@techquest3259mine is 20 cells c.mm and 95% lymphocytes and 5% neutrophils. Is that okay..as i am getting unusual headaches from 5 months.
