I visited Las Vegas 2 weeks ago. I stayed for six days. They were homeless people everywhere. Even in places with heavy foot traffic, where security and police make regular rounds to move the homeless, they still found a way to appear in mass. They need reliable housing and drug abuse therapy, not arrests and trespass.
No they need jail or institutions The left created drug use The left took shame away from being a bum The left made the focus of society on the shiftless the criminal and the insane Society and its resources are for the lawful and productive Those that can't or won't comply belong in jails or institutions We don't have the resources to watch that many strays Covid proved our limitations

I think the homeless people who mentally unstable that are yelling or making threats to tourist should be removed from the Vegas strip. People who are just trying to make a living/making ends meet and not causing harm to tourist should be ok to be on the strip.
I'm homeless and I have a Nevada ID with a address were I get my mail I register to vote, but they say it's an address of business, what I would like to know is if I'm homeless and can't vote how in the hell can I volunteer for jury service in the state of Nevada but can't vote something isn't right but the laws in Nevada
It shouldn’t matter if you are homeless or not when you commit a crime! Being in need is not an excuse to assault, steal, etc. Stop being so careful to express this clearly! Homeless are experts on exploiting the public’s sympathy of the homeless!
Like 5 years ago they kicked out street performers from the strip, luckily i made it out and was able to open business. (Wich is almost impossible starting from the street) I wonder how many of the other buskers became homeless because of the government violating freedom of expression, maybe it back triggered. What I see in this news is that they just blame the homeless people instead of trying to solve a problem or see what is causing this phenomenon all over the country. I can only hope they clean the streets this honest gambling businesses are losing money 😔
Maybe they should do a report on all the ways help is available for the homeless, but some don't want to use it because they have rules attached to them. Or they are downtown, not out on the strip...

So stop putting street performers as homeless. There trying to do what they love and love what they do entertaining people. And hope to get a lucky break.
