I'm not a ranch-style home person...BUT this is a gorgeous home and property. Very Canadian with all the evergreen woods! Congrats to my fellow Canadian family, I hope they are enjoying their home. 🤗
How I love renovating old houses and things... as if you are giving them another chance at life after they have given up on life and people... These couples are also my favorite, they have a fun sense of humor and a nice human emotional depth☺
Miawwww I am also from Ontario Canada and I am in love with their new home. It is gorgeous, and I guess there will be no snow shoveling in winter time.
Omg-Ben, I truly feel your pain😢. Pray all goes well with you. [My recent accident dislocated my dominant arm, fractured the humeral head, and tore my biceps. Really really hurts and EMS took me to a terrible hospital. The DO actually yelled at me. Found an amazing Orthopedic surgeon. Rehab is brutal.]
I would've loved to have the kitchen and the dining room windows across the wall bigger - and instead of cabinets at each end, shelves to put pretty kitchen items, even cookbooks. They've got plenty of cabinet space. But to see the outdoors and more light - that would be wonderful!
Why must the cabinets always be destroyed?! They appear to be in good condition, and perfectly suitable for a modest kitchen makeover, or storage in another part of the house. Habitat Re-Store, Goodwill, Facebook Marketplace...all good for advertising free and/or low-cost items. Very few families can afford a 35K kitchen renovation, and those cabinets could have been saved from going into a landfill

This is ABSOLUTELY one of my MOST FAVORITE home makeovers they have ever done!

Just beautiful. The design in the great room and back sunroom are stunning. Gotta love that Canadian couple too.

They always surprise the homeowners
is Ben a bear fighter?
Concrete for the kitchen floors will be very painful for feet and legs and glasses and plates will possibly be destroyed if they get dropped.
It's beautiful but I'd prefer a great-room style kitchen. This seems too isolated. But as long as they love it...

I agree. I cringe when they whack cabinets which are still in good condition. Many people could still benefit from these 2nd hand cabinets.
$325,000 American money? because Canadian money is no where near that.
Why is there so much crime in Laurel?
