Yep, I have really heard it all! I'm in healthcare and just last week, I got a new patient that argues with himself in different voices. I was passing by his room and heard two loud angry voices. It was late night so I went in to tell the visitor that he had to leave. After I confirmed that my patient was the only one in the room. I back out the door slowly.

Really comments like this should be made in private, not live on TV when someone is at their most vulnerable and exposed. This could destroy a persons confidence for many years to come so I fully respect his choice to shield his friend from the worst of the blow
@@EatingMachine23 They did the same song in the finals and it was much more balanced where Charlotte's voice wasn't shearing through at parts and drowning in others. Much better production I would assume and that took care of that issue from the audition. They did split up later on though. He has a good solo career going for him now, don't know what became of her.

13 years on, Susan Boyle's audition is still one of the greatest singing performances on any singing competition. The second she walked out on stage, people were laughing at her. Then they kept laughing and were thinking "This is going to be extremely funny watching her make a fool out of herself". And in less than a minute, she proved every single one of them wrong. They gave her a standing ovation almost immediately. The smile that Simon gave her, was one of pure joy and amazement. Just truly incredible.

Greg Pritchard's voice is stunning. It's been a long time since I've heard a counter-tenor with such clear tone and pitch. I love listening to such voices because NOBODY expects a man to be able to sing like that.

Jonathan...HOLY CRAP!!! I was moved to almost crying from his talent and ability. I don't typically listen to opera, but when I am exposed to an undeniably great artist it does not matter what medium or genre they express themselves through, because they uniquely and timelessly represent the best of the human spirit. Bravo, Jonathan!!! And thank you to his singing partner - Charlotte - for helping him gain the confidence to share his gift with the world. You too have an amazingly good voice, and using it so perfectly deserves so much recognition in and of itself - Keep on!

I love listening to Susan! Her tone and vocal range is beautiful. She has the ability to belt out a song as well as deliver the softest vocals such as Wild Horses and Silent Night. She never fails to make goosebumps rise on my arms!

@@MikeHIMH Simon never shies away from things everyone is thinking, but is too afraid to ever say to someone. Because of that, most of us cringed when he spoke so rudely to her about her lack of singing skills, because she does have potential - just needs some more coaching. But together with Johnathan she sounded good, but he clearly outshined her.

I almost just cried after Jonathan and Charlotte. I think Simon is absolutely right, Charolette is undeniably good, but Jonathan is absolutely amazing. He has more power, more control, more emotion, and his tone is just perfect. I've been scared to seriously pursue music my whole life because of my weight and appearance and it takes so much courage to put yourself out there with that kind of insecurity, and Charlotte is an absolute gem for seeing the talent in him and helping him find the confidence to share that. That's true friendship and I'm so glad to see it
That little "four yeses" the dad mouthed to the little metal girl melted my heart. I just imagine they have the closest relationship, rocking out and headbanging around the house, just being there for each other through everything. 🖤

Hearing someone singing a Queen cover always renews my respect for the one-of-a-kind talent that was Freddie Mercury. Freddy made those vocals sound *simple*, and then you suddenly realize how they very much are not. Dev nailed them, and it's so easy to fail at them completely.
Queen Forever! Hail to those who even try sing their songs as beautifully as Freddie, who will be missed and loved always.
Freddie was one of a kind...man I grieve the music he ran out of time to make.
Freddy was in a class by himself. He was actually classically trained but certainly found his real talent in Queen.

Filipinos have the most beautiful voices
I saw some amazing acts when I lived in Manila.. Our Filipino friends would take us to different performances on various nights of the week and we were simply amazed at the sheer talent that we got to see! I was particularly impressed with some of the 'drag queen' vocalists! Filipino women are by far the most beautiful beautiful women in the world.. and their drag queens are by far the most beautiful of all. But their talent eclipses that of any Beyoncé or Mariah Carey! I can't understand why these incredibly talented artists are not celebrated on a global scale because they have so much more talent in their little fingers than the most famous celebrities of the Western world. They certainly deserve recognition for their talents. For just one example, when the world famous band 'Journey' was searching for a new lead singer after Steve Perry left (and he is considered to be in the world's top 10 male rock-vocalists), they found his replacement in the incredible vocals of Arnel Pineda, a young Filipino man who has the same ridiculous range and he could imitate every journey song - he's just a natural, and slotted straight into the band. But that's just one example, when so many Filipinos deserve recognition on the world stage. I made many beautiful friends in Manila and Cebu, and I can't wait to go back again - and again. It's my favourite destination on the globe ❤️ 🇵🇭

Greg, the punk looking waiter who sang the soprano opera absolutely slayed me. His voice was amazing. His technique and sound were SO professional. Simon looked like he was in shock. I hope he's working in an opera company now. I can't imagine how he would sound with some proper training.

Susan Boyle's audition was the most epic. After her "surprise" performance, these shows became much more accepting of people, regardless of age and what the people looked like.
Harper's technique was flawless.. her throat was relaxed and everything.. Most people don't understand the level of technique to do that correctly cuz if you don't u risk damage to ur vocal cords.. She is amazing

i’m so suprised noones talking about the 10yr old girl harper, being a scream singer and literally doing it effortlessly she gave me flashbacks and my head start bobbing jamming out no one understands how hard that is and obviously different to see this little 10yr old girl perform it flawlessly 😭
It was so unexpected! She looks like a sweet little girl and she hits us with that voice ❤️❤️❤️ but in Italy they are much more open to this music, they didn't make her justice

I actually came here to talk about her!! Most people don’t know this, but a metal scream is an EXTREMELY challenging thing to do. It generally takes years of practice & vocal training, as well as learning how to control your breathing. Very few singers can pull it off without completely passing out. It IS a real singing style & a VERY difficult one to master. I think she’s awesome❣️

My first time seeing this 'Charlotte & Jonathan' duo. Good performance. Simon may be right about their individual talents. But the audience didn't appreciate Simon advising Jonathan to dump his partner for the sake of advancing his own career. But for a 17 yr old, he showed up Simon with a lot of class by acknowledging how far they had come so far & would continue to shine as a duo. Outstanding talent & maturity !

the teacher put charlotte with jonathan to get him on the stage. she did her job just getting him past his own insecurity and to see he can make it.. bless the lad for having a heart, which is rare in the world these days.
