Yep, I have really heard it all! I'm in healthcare and just last week, I got a new patient that argues with himself in different voices. I was passing by his room and heard two loud angry voices. It was late night so I went in to tell the visitor that he had to leave. After I confirmed that my patient was the only one in the room. I back out the door slowly.

Susan Boyle will always be my all time favourite performer on any of these shows. You could see Simon falling in love with her voice
13 years on, Susan Boyle's audition is still one of the greatest singing performances on any singing competition. The second she walked out on stage, people were laughing at her. Then they kept laughing and were thinking "This is going to be extremely funny watching her make a fool out of herself". And in less than a minute, she proved every single one of them wrong. They gave her a standing ovation almost immediately. The smile that Simon gave her, was one of pure joy and amazement. Just truly incredible.

I love listening to Susan! Her tone and vocal range is beautiful. She has the ability to belt out a song as well as deliver the softest vocals such as Wild Horses and Silent Night. She never fails to make goosebumps rise on my arms!

Really comments like this should be made in private, not live on TV when someone is at their most vulnerable and exposed. This could destroy a persons confidence for many years to come so I fully respect his choice to shield his friend from the worst of the blow
@@03timdol They did the same song in the finals and it was much more balanced where Charlotte's voice wasn't shearing through at parts and drowning in others. Much better production I would assume and that took care of that issue from the audition. They did split up later on though. He has a good solo career going for him now, don't know what became of her.

Susan Boyle's audition will go down in history as one of the most extraordinary voices in BGT. She went on to release album after album of the most incredible performances, and I hope she continues to do so for many more years to come. I don't want to live without Susan's beautiful vocals to brighten my day, every day : )

My first time seeing this 'Charlotte & Jonathan' duo. Good performance. Simon may be right about their individual talents. But the audience didn't appreciate Simon advising Jonathan to dump his partner for the sake of advancing his own career. But for a 17 yr old, he showed up Simon with a lot of class by acknowledging how far they had come so far & would continue to shine as a duo. Outstanding talent & maturity !

the teacher put charlotte with jonathan to get him on the stage. she did her job just getting him past his own insecurity and to see he can make it.. bless the lad for having a heart, which is rare in the world these days.
Simon was right though, Charlotte is average for an opera singer but Jonathan is the next Pavarotti.
Jonathan...HOLY CRAP!!! I was moved to almost crying from his talent and ability. I don't typically listen to opera, but when I am exposed to an undeniably great artist it does not matter what medium or genre they express themselves through, because they uniquely and timelessly represent the best of the human spirit. Bravo, Jonathan!!! And thank you to his singing partner - Charlotte - for helping him gain the confidence to share his gift with the world. You too have an amazingly good voice, and using it so perfectly deserves so much recognition in and of itself - Keep on!

Because of that, most of us cringed when he spoke so rudely to her about her lack of singing skills, because she does have potential - just needs some more coaching. But together with Johnathan she sounded good, but he clearly outshined her.

Greg, the punk looking waiter who sang the soprano opera absolutely slayed me. His voice was amazing. His technique and sound were SO professional. Simon looked like he was in shock. I hope he's working in an opera company now. I can't imagine how he would sound with some proper training.

I almost just cried after Jonathan and Charlotte. I think Simon is absolutely right, Charolette is undeniably good, but Jonathan is absolutely amazing. He has more power, more control, more emotion, and his tone is just perfect. I've been scared to seriously pursue music my whole life because of my weight and appearance and it takes so much courage to put yourself out there with that kind of insecurity, and Charlotte is an absolute gem for seeing the talent in him and helping him find the confidence to share that. That's true friendship and I'm so glad to see it

Charlotte and Jonathan: Simon made a terrible mistake missjudging her technique, considering that being the second voice and properly keep the position in there shows amazing control and tech as well.

The Filipino guy singing a duet was amazing. I must admit, most singers didn't sound that good to me, but much respect for even being able to sing so extremely high/low or with a completely different timbre.

The 1st group Miss Tres was not a surprise. They were some good looking boys. Marcelino was a total surprise, his voice range was amazing. Loved, loved, loved his voice.

i’m so suprised noones talking about the 10yr old girl harper, being a scream singer and literally doing it effortlessly she gave me flashbacks and my head start bobbing jamming out no one understands how hard that is and obviously different to see this little 10yr old girl perform it flawlessly 😭
It was so unexpected! She looks like a sweet little girl and she hits us with that voice ❤️❤️❤️ but in Italy they are much more open to this music, they didn't make her justice

I actually came here to talk about her!! Most people don’t know this, but a metal scream is an EXTREMELY challenging thing to do. It generally takes years of practice & vocal training, as well as learning how to control your breathing. Very few singers can pull it off without completely passing out. It IS a real singing style & a VERY difficult one to master. I think she’s awesome❣️

All talented contestants with some great surprises. But there is one performance that never fails to make me cry like a baby it's so beautiful, and that is Susan Boyle.
Susan Boyle was the absolute cutest most natural and powerful in this performance before everyone polished her up. I love many of her later performances but this one will always be my favorite.
I think Susan Boyle will always be the most remarkable shocking contestant. Simon face when she walked out then when she started singing, is priceless. He was repulsed by her looks, then she started to sing he quickly became very smitten
