As a Birmingham city fan it’s so bizarre to be favourites in the league I have no idea how to feel about

Hard to argue against Birmingham, Rotherham, Huddersfield and Bolton being the top 4
Wrexham can finish anywhere between 6th and 13th, it just depends entirely upto the teams around them..

I'm hoping Wrexham makes the playoffs. I'm not sure that, as a club, they're ready to win and move up to Championship yet, but I would love them to get that playoff experience so that next season, once they've had a chance to adjust to a higher level, they can move up to Championship.

With Huddersfield I have no clue how we’re gonna do. Our team on paper is looking really nice. Ik we should never look into pre season too much but in our recent game, our defence looked worryingly all over the place and we did ship a load of goals last year now it’s got me worried and Duff said we’re not where he wants to be mentally and physically atm
He is working on it well and wirth Sorba Thomas gone dressing room will be better. Cant even sell him for a million says something need to strengthen defence all we have are strong but slow aprt from Helik if we keep him.

I wouldn't go against the relegated sides but this can be an unpredictable league . There are about ten larger clubs that aren't far off Bolton and Barnsley being notable and many of the smaller clubs have good sides but small squads and are quite capable of upsetting things before injuries set in . Brum and Huddersfield in particular might find it harder than they expect , Rotherham have the experience .

As a stevenage fan i think we will get playoffs if we dont get injuries
In my honest opinion, Wrexham will be lucky to survive League one, the step up from league two to league one is huge and I think Wrexham fans will be hit with a massive reality check when they start playing some games against some actual quality sides.
Birmingham will suffer the same reality check. Their fans are convinced they'll be up comfortably. One brummie I read thinks they'll be up by Christmas.
Playing away at somewhere like Burton or Cambridge on a cold wet Wednesday night in front of 4,000 and getting no time to dwell on the ball or getting turned over by someone like Stockport will soon shake Brummie fans out of their complacency.

I was just saying somewhere last week I am looking at Wrexham to finish 6-8 if they finish the transfer market well. The bookies ranking is tilted high by money from overseas that is more enthusiastic than informed, BUT they've done an excellent job in upgrading the control of their own box, but they haven't yet opened their transfer account for the attack into the opposition box. An upgrade to Ollie Palmer is needed, as well as he worked out at the level that Wrexham acquired him for, to complement Mullins or Mullins under-study. Luckily Fair Play has PL clubs looking to loan out valuable young players to make their wage bill look more sustainable, and there should be striking talent available on loan.
As a Wrexham fan I feel Sophie's prediction is more likely but hoping a few breaks go the right way and Matt's spot in the playoffs becomes reality.
I do agree on your top 3 even if I'd like to see Bolton push one of them down.

Birmingham & Huddersfield top 2. Charlton playoff winners. Stockport and Wrexham to finish top 10 but both outside the playoff spots.
Spending big is no gaurentee of success. Other teams have been down that road and failed.
It means nothing if you spend millions and the team can't gel when it matters.
As a Wrexham fan, I think it's very fair. There is talk of a couple more signings and I think 8th would be a great season.

You’re obviously youngsters, but the NL stuff about Stockport County was no more relevant than the five consecutive seasons in the 2nd tier that ended only in 2002; you’ve made a prediction based on naming just three of County’s signings not including some very impressive ones.
