These vlogs have been my autumn evening comfort blanket 🥰 Thanks for all the time & effort joe , I can only imagine daily vlogs is a lot of hard work x
Not sure if I should be telling you this after the event, but it's worth knowing for future, when you defrost things in water, especially meat, it should always be in cold water. It'll still be warmer than the frozen item so will defrost it just as effectively via heat transfer but importantly, it won't raise it to the same temperature as hot water would, which makes it a breeding ground for bacteria. Anything above 40 degrees is a no go. Should be fine with dough, but worth knowing anyway seeing as you're worried about food contamination
The dehydrated pumpkins look amazing! Leave the oven door just ever so slightly ajar whilst the pumpkins are cooling as this will get rid of any residual moisture 🎃
For me, a cold crisp Christmas in the UK is perfect - meaning no snow, no rain, just cold, crisp dry days. Sun out, blue skies, but cold, like 6C during the day. Love it. I had a few Christmas times like that, and it's perfect. I hate snow, so no snow. With love, from Derry, Northern Ireland.
I’m from Sweden and I actually think I prefer a cold Christmas. 🎄 These vlogs are so cozy to watch, I remember that I used to watch your vlogs back in 2016 and now I’m hooked again!! ❤
Observations! You spray the plant food directly on the soil & water it in. Secondly, the exhaust on the mini is “FKD!”. As for the pizza oven, the gas has further to travel to get to the second flame! Let the gas flow through for a second or two more. Effectively you are starving the second burner of oxygen, which is why it goes out.
I grew up in South Africa and returned to my hometown the Netherlands and I love a cold ❄️ Christmas here its just to hot in south African or Australia to do Christmas dinner or lunch its so cozy when its cold
The starlink satellites are more spread out. They are launched about thirty at a time and are flung out of the rocket all at once. They gradually separate into their correct position in orbit. What you saw was a recent launch which traveled north east over Scotland and the satellites had recently been deployed so hadn’t got into their positions yet. I think there are over five thousand in total but are only really visible soon after launch when they are close together or by stargazers who sometimes see a rogue dot when they are looking at constellations etc.
I’m in Aus and love our Christmas here but it’s definitely on my bucket list to experience a snowy Christmas somewhere else in the world! It just seems so cozy! And less flies 🪰 😅
A snowy Christmas here in East Yorkshire and then a hot New Year in Australia please! Looking forward to seeing the Buswells wrapped up for a cold Christmas with you guys. ☃️🎄🎅
Having lived in Spain half my life, I would definitely go for a traditional snowy Christmas in the UK. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of those that I’ve experienced, but to me Christmas should be crisp and cold to bring back that old excitement
I'm from Australia and i would LOVE to experience a Snowy Christmas 😍... I am not a fan of our Summers as a whole 🤮 so if i could escape during December to the UK, i would do it in a heartbeat.
I live in the US. I grew up with warm Christmases in Florida, but moved to Massachusetts 17 years ago. I much prefer a cold snowy Christmas tbh. With that said, February and March are brutal for us. Cold, dark and dreary. By that point, we just want Spring and Summer to arrive. It’s always strange watching you and Zoe’s vlogs and seeing that you aren’t looking forward to Thanksgiving before Christmas. It breaks up the holidays for us in the US perfectly. And our Fall/Autumn decor is still used through Thanksgiving. Vlogtober has been awesome! And the editor does a great job of capturing your humor. 😊
As a child, I loved a cold snowy Christmas (in the Northeastern US). Now, I can't be bothered and prefer a nice climate changed moderate temperature at Christmas. I would take any excuse, and Christmas with family is a good one, to return to Australia.
christmas question is hard! feel like i’d love to experience a hot christmas in australia, but then a cold snowy christmas just brings back happy childhood memories!! don’t think i could decide!
A white Christmas for sure!! I lived in California my whole life from 1961 until June 30 2024 when my husband and I moved to Cody Wyoming! Near Yellowstone National Park. So I am SUPER excited to have a white Christmases this year!!
Loving these vlogs Joe. You and Dianne are a tonic! I mostly like a cold Christmas but I would love to try a hot Christmas once to see what it is like. Fife in Scotland. PS. We hardly ever get snow x
I'm in North Yorkshire, UK and I'd just like to experience a warm Christmas in Australia just to say I've done it but definitely snowy Xmas is best so snowy to ski on! Thanks for doing vlogtober 🤗
From New Zealand and only ever had hot Christmas, in saying that sometimes we do get the occasional cloudy rainy day Christmas so it’s not always hot. I do prefer a nice sunny day though to sit outside with family and have Christmas lunch or dinner and games. It definitely doesn’t feel as Christmas vibes as it seems in the northern hemisphere with the cozy pjs and decorations, would love to experience a winter Christmas atleast once in my life
Loving your vlogtober vlogs Joe, I’ve been lucky enough to experience both hot and cold Christmases. Growing up I loved the early nights and colder days as they went with every Christmas song, book and film, although living in West Yorkshire I don't remember having a lot of snow where my family lived we mostly got a little sprinkling. However as I’ve gotten older and have lived in NZ now longer than I lived in the UK, I’d have to pick a hot summer, for me nothing beats going for a walk, paddle or swim at the beach in the evening when its a bit quieter and a few drinks in the garden with the fam, even if it rains a little, that no feels like Christmas for me. 💖
A snowy Christmas any day in the UK Midlands! For me, Christmas is all about cozy family time with hot chocolate, blanket movie night, fluffy matching PJs, and warm, fuzzy socks. I love the tradition of a full roast Christmas dinner and wearing festive Christmas jumpers. These cherished Christmas traditions wouldn’t feel the same in Australia with the sunny weather. A Christmas BBQ on the beach just wouldn't capture the true essence of Christmas for me. The cold weather really makes moments like making hot chocolate as a family special.
A cold Christmas and a hot New Year! Watching from Utrecht the Netherlands. Also that sound you makes hurts my dog ears, the same way when someone is agessively stiring his tea in a cup! I am with Dianne on this.
i'm 38 years old and absolutely useless at using the microwave to defrost. Snowy Christmas in UK. I'm from Colorado, USA, so many of my christmases have been snowy and it's awesome.
I now live in Cornwall, but I lived in Los Angeles for many years. I never got used the weather being warmer at Christmas. It just never felt the same as Christmas in the UK. Having said that I loved the Vlogs of you and Dianne in Australia at Christmas and wouldn't mind experiencing that. Also, really enjoying the vlogs atm. 🙂
Would love a cold snowy Christmas, Im from nz and love holidays so would be awesome to have them in the right season. just feels like cold is so much more cozy and magical, perfect for stuffing yourself with delicious food and annoying your loved ones. Hot Christmas here just means you get sweaty from eating too much and fat for beach season :P loving vlogtober thanks joe!
I always thought that refrigerated or frozen pizza dough needed to be brought to room temperature, shaped and then left to rise for a bit, before being cooked…but, your pizzas all seem to work out quite well straight from the cold. 🤩👍 I was born in the UK and my family moved to Canada when I was 2. December 2023 was the first Christmas I had back in England as an adult. I liked it! I’m kind of done with snow…been shovelling it off of pathways and driveways since I was a kid. So, a more mild, sometimes rainy Christmas was okay with me.❤️. I’d like to try an Aussie Christmas one year, too!
I love my cold Christmas back in the US but I grew up in Perth Western Australia where I live now and I prefer my hot Christmas! Nothing better than the beach and crayfish and prawns at Christmas time!
I guess I would prefer a snowy Christmas in The UK. But I’ve never tried it. 🤷🏼♀️ I have tried a hot Christmas in Australia actually, and it was wonderful, but I’m from the north of Norway and traditionally my christmases are very snowy. I just love the nostalgia about the snow and the lights together. I now live in the south of Spain which is also quite hot all year, so the dramatic change of climate in December is refreshing. Also I think my favorite feeling is traveling home for christmas. Thank you for doing vlogtober. It’s such a perfect series to watch as I just lay in the sofa after long days of work or doing my own art work. I never actually comment but if I remember correctly, I have been subscribed to your channel since I saw your asos shopping video a bunch of years ago. And I have a question for you! If you were to move to a country you’ve never visited before(only for a year), what country would you choose and why?
Another good vlog, Joe. I’m so glad you didn’t make your pizza with that week old dough! I was shouting ‘no’ at my tv, as if you could hear me - yesterday!! I’d rather have a proper snowy cold Christmas but I live in Dorset so I doubt that will be on the agenda. See you tomorrow x
I’m from Pennsylvania USA. I prefer a snowy Christmas but would love to try a warm Christmas in Australia. Especially if i can stay with Diane’s family. Love to you both.❤
I have been lucky enough to experience both hot and cold Christmas’ but I definitely prefer having a hot Christmas. It was so cool as kids to get heaps of toys and summer based presents and then play outside with them in the afternoon once most of the family had left for the day, and the food that we make is sooooo good. Kiwi Christmas’ are the best there is. Been loving watching vlogtober first thing in the morning, watching from New Zealand 😊
I would like visit australia at some point! But since I grew up in northern Sweden, I prefer a cold Christmas with a lot of snow! love the vlogtober btw😄
I’m from the midlands in the UK and i 100% would still stick with a cold Xmas, every year i hope for a white Xmas id hate it to be warm just wouldn’t feel right, i really dislike hot weather anytime of the year anyway I’m not a summer person at all, Autumn and winter all the way for me.
Originally from South Africa and now living in the UK near Liverpool. Definitely have to say a hot Christmas! Summer holidays plus the festive season makes it even better!
Defo a hot Aussie Christmas- I’m in Northern Ireland originally from Kent, do love it here, but miss the sunshine so much and already counting down the days to when spring comes. Arghhjj! Also was gonna say go for it the track day at Goodwood or Thruxton- that’s a vlog I’d love watching as a fellow petrol head 🥰 🏁
Definitely a cold Christmas and definitely snow❄️☃️( I’ve experienced a white Christmas as a child) very magical, originally from Surrey but now live in Somerset KX💜
Glasgow gal here and I'm going cold, snowy Christmas every time! I can't cope with hot climates 🥵😂 Plus, there's nothing better than curling up under a blanket in the evening, fire on, tree lights twinkling, hot chocolate in hand and getting the Christmas movies on 👌🏻
I’ve only ever had UK Christmases and think it would be weird experiencing something different after 30 years! I’d love a really snowy Christmas one year rather than grey and wet like we always seem to get.
I've lived in Aus all of my life so I've never experienced a cold Christmas. I would really like to have a cold UK Christmas at least once in my life. In fact any seasonal holiday would probably be better in its season. I'd like to have Halloween in autumn instead of spring and Easter in spring instead of autumn. In more recent times we have started having events like "Vivid" in Sydney, which is a spectacular festival of lights, in our winter. There are also a few places in the mountains that host a Christmas in July when it is snowing. So it is possible to have 2 Christmases a year here, one hot and one cold.
Hey Joe! Im from South Carolina in The US!. I would much rather have a snow white Christmas than a hot Christmas. We get the hot weather most the year. Have yet to have a white christmas as we dont get much snow anyway.
I've had both cold christmasses in the UK and I was able to spend a hot Christmas in Perth Australia one year! I'd always go for a snowy christmas but honestly some of the most amazing memories were made when I was able to spend that one in Aus 🥰 I'm in Plymouth England ☺
Hi Joe 😊 I’m from the UK originally, (born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire), but moved to Australia in 2003, so have experienced Christmas in both countries. However, I have to say that I much prefer Christmas in the UK especially when it snows. There’s nothing better than a traditional white Christmas. Even though I’ve lived in Australia, (the Macedon Ranges in Victoria), for over twenty years, it never feels right having Christmas in the searing heat under the blazing sun! It just doesn’t seem Christmassy to me out here.
Nothing will beat a snowy Christmas in Canada. If you think the uk gets cold and snowy you haven’t been to my part of the world. But I would love to visit England during Christmas, from what I’ve seen it’s very festive in a different way than it is here. Loving the vlogtober!!
I’m enjoying Vlogtober so much Joe! I’m from New Jersey USA and have always loved a snowy Christmas! But I would like to experience a tropical Christmas someday!🌴🎄❤
Answer to your question: I’d prefer a cold Christmas in UK! I have lived in Perth for 20 years now, moved here when I was 7 and it still just doesn’t feel like Christmas in 40 degree heat. When I came back to UK for Christmas last year, it immediately felt christmassy. You do it so much better over there - stores and streets covered in Christmas lights. Better Christmas food and atmosphere!!! I just way prefer being cosy and having my roast dinner in cooler weather 🥰🎄🎅🏻
I live in New Zealand so very used to summer Christmas's but i got to experience 6 london winter Christmas's and there is nothing like it, everything around christmas ( songs, movies, food, cards, decorations etc are winter themed) very few summer things so always feels a bit odd having beach and bbq for Christmas. We do Christmas lights but it gets dark so late, it feels like a waste of time, i am grateful to have experienced some wonderful winter Christmas's 😊
Cold Christmas in the uk and at least experience one hot Christmas in New Zealand . I’m from Kent ., Joe leave the door open when the pumpkins are in the oven to let the moisture out when it’s not turned on . Pumpkins do look cool
im probably being bias, but i love being an aussie and having christmas in the summer because backyard cricket, swimming in the pool etc. Also, having new years on a beach is the best with the fireworks, or having a bonfire. Aussie summer is the best
These vlogs have been my autumn evening comfort blanket 🥰
Thanks for all the time & effort joe , I can only imagine daily vlogs is a lot of hard work x

pls keep vlogs coming all year round I'm begging

Love the vlogs, Joe. If my Nan was here she will shout "close the freezer door, your letting the cold out"

Snowy Christmas in the UK for sure! I live in Florida so have plenty of hot Christmases and they just aren’t the same as back home in England.
Cold Christmas, with snow, England ❤

I use banana skins to feed my plants. I put the skins in a jar of water...it's especially good for house plants that like potassium.
I'm in North Yorkshire, UK and I'd just like to experience a warm Christmas in Australia just to say I've done it but definitely snowy Xmas is best so snowy to ski on!

I’ve only ever had UK Christmases and think it would be weird experiencing something different after 30 years! I’d love a really snowy Christmas one year rather than grey and wet like we always seem to get.
Agree! I think I would hate a summer Christmas like Australians
Hot Christmas in Australia without a doubt , not to warm in sunny Northamptonshire 😊
I've lived in Aus all of my life so I've never experienced a cold Christmas. I would really like to have a cold UK Christmas at least once in my life. Cold Christmas, you can get nice and comfy in your cosy clothes. From Lancashire uk.😊
Hi Joe 😊
I’m from the UK originally, (born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire), but moved to Australia in 2003, so have experienced Christmas in both countries.
I live in Ross-on-Wye in UK, it’s Christmas tradition for us to go abroad at Christmas, a hot Christmas for me every time!
In the midwest, Cold Christmas with snow! If it’s not cold and snowy it doesn’t feel like Christmas ⛄️
@@Kaylynnharris ❤️
Cold Christmas in the UK for me and I’m from Yorkshire - loving your vlogs, thanks Joe 😊
Snowy Christmas for me here in Newcastle ☃️🎄
Cold Christmas in the uk and at least experience one hot Christmas in New Zealand .
I’m from Kent ., Joe leave the door open when the pumpkins are in the oven to let the moisture out when it’s not turned on . Pumpkins do look cool
Snowy Christmas 🎄 for sure.
Cold, snowy Christmas for sure! ♡ Watching from Vancouver, Canada.
Cold Christmas everytime, ⛄️🎅🏻 from 🇬🇧
im probably being bias, but i love being an aussie and having christmas in the summer because backyard cricket, swimming in the pool etc. Also, having new years on a beach is the best with the fireworks, or having a bonfire. Aussie summer is the best
A cold Christmas is all I’ve ever had (🏴), would love a snowy one! But would also like to try a hot Christmas.
I am from California and have never experienced snow. So I would prefer a snowy Christmas! ✨🎄✨
