Well well - my one and only first class trip included the return flight on this very plane (GX-LEG). Seat 3A on the YVR-LHR route. Sadly BA no longer fly A380's to Vancouver. Nice to see it all again - great vlog. Many thanks. ✈️
1:10 the BA gent at the counters, his name is Vincent (he doesn't like his name shortened!). He is the manager for BA at LAX. Very helpful and friendly guy.
I like all First class. If I don't like, I won't upload video. SQ first and Suites are my favorite, I just fly. Video will be upload in couple months. Have a nice Trip!!
It's a shame you missed the 'millionaire's door' to the Concorde Room to the right wall of security to get in rather than going down and walking up to it.
I had similar when leaving DFW to the UK. They had an iPad and someone scanning my face at the gate. Were they using the biometrics from CBP? @@GlobalSuperFlyers
The woman in the lounge you went into was rude throwing the menu and I don’t think the food looked very good saying that the food on the plain didn’t look to good
On the 777s, it's not too bad, but on the A380s, it's not very good. Instead of getting a F seat, they got a J seat, and built the cabin around it.... It was too small, too hard to sleep on. At LHR, the CCR is nothing amazing. I have a video on my channel about it. If you look at Virgin's LHR T3 Clubhouse, that is what the CCR should be...
@@Locutus Frequent BA first flyer here. Thats a tad misleading, the A380 is the old first class seat whish isnt great. The 777-300 (B77X) has the new first class suites with the privacy door, the 787-8/9/10 have the new first class but without the privacy door, the older 777 which is the 777-200 (B772) is the old first class as well. Concorde room is absolutely lovely, i've used the clubhouse and it wasn't a great experience (now this could've been a one off but i've never flown VA again as a result) there was a huge queue to go through check in and the private security, i had brought my parents with us and my mum has a debilitating health condition which meant she couldnt walk from the lounge to the gate and we made them well aware of this prior to the flight and on the day and said she needed to be transported. VA hadn't arranged anything and at the lounge when we asked about it they said it never got sorted and its too late now. I've taken them in first class before and i had forgotten to arrange transport and at the CCR they were able to arrange it instantly for her and due to boarding being at C gates they took her to a car and drove her effectively onto the plane which made a huge difference. I always prefer being able to walk straight through the heathrow entrance and know in 5 minutes i will be sat down with a JW blue label but i guess it comes down to personal preference!
