- Guru Nanak Public School, Sector-21, Rourkela, joyously commemorated Founder's Day, honoring the sacred Prakash Purav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The festivities began with the revered Sri Akhand Path Saheb on November 15, culminating in a captivating program on November 17.
The day featured soul-stirring Shabad Kirtan by esteemed Bhai Jaspal Singh ji from Delhi and enlightening Katha Vachak by revered Bhai Harbhinder Singh ji from Amritsar Sahib. The event also showcased the Guru-Ka-Langar, attended by over 10,000 individuals, and a free mega health check-up camp, conducted in association with Rotary Club of Rourkela Queens and in collaboration with Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital, also a free Dental Check-up in collaboration with Indian Dental Association.
The celebration highlighted the school's dedication to community service, with 700 enthusiastic students and over 100 devoted teachers actively participating in various initiatives. This grand event exemplified the school's commitment to embracing Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings, fostering a harmonious and compassionate community.
