We run 15 dozen divebombs. Takes about 15 minutes to set up a full spread. The only thing we have added are the hidgon alpha wobblers. We scatter them here and there throughout the spread to give movement in the spread.
We're up to 17 doz divebombs and 10 doz tanglefree. How easy they are to set up and take down are a major selling point for us. I bet adding those wobblers work great mixed in
I have Dive Bombs and Real Geese 2 for Silos. Use to think the Real Geese were better because they’re more durable which they are but if you have hard ground they’re a pain and take longer to set up. But when I have time and help I’ll put both out along with some Higdon wobblers if there’s any wind I’d not then I’ll add a couple lucky duck goose flappers. I then put a couple dozen full body Dave smiths where I want the geese to land. Geese most times are so much harder to decoy than they were 30 years ago. That’s why ya need a realistic spread imo especially hunting traffic which is what I do.
@@Fowlfirepower ya where I'm from the feeds are general small 100 birds or less so 3 dozen works just fine I'm also usually solo hunting and walking in so less weight the better
We've finished big geese with no wind and have had them land and walk around in the spread. Its tough giving up those fullbodies but its worth it. Time and ease of set up, able to haul 40+ doz in my trailblazer. No need for a trailer
@@Fowlfirepower must be different here in Maryland. We run big rigs of black and white vboards but late season with no wind and sunshine it gets hard to get them to come that last 50 yards

thats heck of a set up
If you don’t put your divebombs up all the way on the steaks they work almost like a handle. That’s how I use them.
we've started doing them that way. just give the decoy a slight tap and grab the top of the stake. works great
I have been hunting with Reel geese...Huge success...Even a stud Canvasback came over a cut wheatfield & shot him
I'm looking forward to trying some
Great video, these videos are so helpful determining which hunting gear to purchase! Thanks for taking the time to make this.
Thank you. We'll have more gear videos soon
Do you guys use A-Frame blinds? I made a tangle free blind review on my channel
We run panel blinds most of the time
Are these Tanglefree’s the flocked head or painted?
Flocked heads screen printed bodies
I guess Real-Geese didn't make the list?
I've never had my hands on any. Would love to try some since they're American made
Real Geese are the best of all but very expensive
Would love to get my hands on some
@@Fowlfirepower Send me a place to send some!
Craig me and my guys would like some info on them please
Some of you get crazy with ur spreads I run 3 dozen silos even during the migration works fine
We run anywhere from 5 dozen to whatever we see in the field the night before. We don’t always go big but we can if we need to

@@Outdoorzmerch Our feeds usually run from couple hundred to covering 20 acres. Last couple years we’ve been having some monster feeds
@@Fowlfirepower crazy
who makes the best? Real Geese hands down
Waiting to get my hands on some. Will have video up when I do
I can hook you up
Awesome. Shoot me an email

Thank you
Just buy full bodies
Why? We kill just as many geese over skinnies as we did with fullbodies and they take up less space and set up way quicker?
