When I was 15 I prayed for my future wife, the type of woman she would be, the nature of her heart, and 4 years later, the Lord gave her to me, down to the last detail. Our Heavenly Father is so good and loves to bless his children. Praise the Lord. We are coming up on our 15 wedding anniversary.

I have an amazing story. One time I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. I started getting chills and I felt so comfortable with Him. I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would. So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..." I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly... I started getting flooded with chills inside, and started crying. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car. I've been getting answered prayers for around 5 years since, because that visitation eliminated doubt and I follow Biblical instructions as best as I can.

"Father, double this man's ministry. Double his finances. Double his marital life, in Jesus holy name. Amen." The next day he released a new video. He was standing on stage for a bit, smiling. Then he said "The Lord has just doubled his ministry. He's doubled his finances and He's doubled his marital life...!! My heart started pounding from shock, because he was saying my exact prayer from the night before. Then later that week another prayer just as impossible was answered. It went on and on like that for months. It still happens, but, I have less stories because I quit praying for myself.

I was a drinker and a smoker for 15 years... until I met the Lord. I prayed for those evil sprits to be lifted from my name and it did NOT take very long (my faith is STRONG). I've been completely sober (besides coffee lol) since December 21st... Cheers to Jesus Christ!~

I would prefer to live alone in a two story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a nice kitchen everything for myself. I will Never intend on having kids and never been married. Having a family cost a lot money over the long term, and I would prefer saving it so when I turn your age I can have financial freedom and lots of money saved at the bank.

GM, I know the bitter feeling of a lost cat. Over 10 years ago, my cat ran out the house like he normally does because he just loves the outdoors, and he would come back later that evening meowing let me in now… this time he hadn’t, and he was gone for days. A week had passed by and he still wasn’t home. I went to church that Sunday and the mother of the church (knowing what happened to my cat) prayed along with the congregation, a safe return for him. I don’t remember having faith in that moment but they did, for me. When I got back in, it was either that night or the next day, my cat had returned home… in bad shape (like the prodigal son) but he was home. He was nurtured back to good health, and he’s here with me now as if it never happened. May this serve as an encouragement as to what God is able to do for us and that he’s concerned about the things that concerns us. Bless you dear friend. And I’ll be praying for you as well.

Yep. It’s especially hard when you’ve been praying and struggling for well over a decade with no change in sight. You fight to keep your faith in check only to get beaten down by cruel reality every time. The only thing that I’ve learned is that faith is not for the faint hearted.
Remember that the Israelites wondered in the wilderness for 40 years! They also did many things to prolong that period. It’s important that we make sure we’re fully listening to, following, and SUBMITTING to god or we may prolong our own wilderness season. I’ll pray for you Jamie, God bless.

Another thing to keep in mind… is God doesn’t always answer “yes” to our prayers. The Bible is very clear that God only answers prayers according to His will, not our own.

Someone who trusts in the Lord stands there looks up in the air puts their hands in the air, cries out to the Lord! But somebody who believes in the Lord gets down on their knees, praises the Lord and gives everything to the Lord! I believe the Lord will answer your prayer! I don't even know what it is you're praying for, but I'm praying for you!
Trust is an action though. If you pray for something say to publish a novel. You won't just sit around and wait, you'll write. You'll write because you trust God will deliver. You'll take one step, God will take two. But you have to take that step and show God your faith. You'll act like it's a done deal and a person who acts that way works towards that goal with complete trust that it's gonna happen, they don't doubt.

I agree with this in part. The bible also warns about asking God for blessings with a selfish or lustful heart. Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. James 4:2-3 KJV This includes a trend that's very popular in America. The 'prosperity doctrine'. I have never believed in asking amiss (the prosperity doctrine or asking with selfish or lustful motives). It's important to seperate our needs and wants when we make requests of the Father.
Sadly, most people are clueless about what these passages mean… Asking in his name has everything to do with being confirmed to his perfect will. Jesus’ life is shown to be completely and utterly submitted to the father in EVERY WAY. And that is what John is saying in those passages that say that. It has EVERYTHING TO DO with The Father’s will, not asking for whatever we want. When it says: ask for whatever you wish and It will be done for you John 15:7, if we do not look at what is immediately before that: if you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish… It’s not this genie in a bottle scenario. We HAVE TO GET TO THE HEART OF WHAT John is pointing us to in what Jesus taught his disciples! John 13-16 was a giant encouragement from Jesus to his disciples because he was about to go away and be crucified. Their world was about to be turned upside down and he says I will send the helper who will bring to remembrance all that I have said to you. The context is so important in understand what Jesus is teaching! It’s a process of incredible transformation from wanting and asking for worthless things we do not need or that are not that important, to being confirmed to and knowing His heart intimately so that what we ask for he was waiting to grant to us because the desire came from Him! Be careful with putting random words and thoughts in God’s mouth, he is not constantly speaking in your head, and he is not a chatterbox. Most of the time these are just your own thoughts. We definitely feel lead by the Spirit though as believers have the Spirit in them. Usually we are more clearly led by Him after praying and spending time with God, and by reading the Word, but this doesn’t mean God is speaking to you directly and clearly like he spoke with the Prophets in the Bible. Also, just to be clear whatever we ask in His name will be done because the Father will be glorified in the Son, so the thing we ask to be done has to be in line with the will of the Father and glorify Him, otherwise it will not be done.

10 Days ago I was super concerned that I had cancer and I’ve never been so afraid before in my life, it’s a feeling of dread I cannot describe in words - I prayed, cried out to our Almighty Father who has always been there for me, always protecting and helping me without fail - the condition cleared up, the doctors confirmed it and today I can say, I’m cleared of this terrible thing but my life will never be the same, I will honour and glorify our Holy Father who is ALWAYS faithful, always with us, without fail, now and forever - thank You Holy Father for the healing for Your Grace and Goodness - HOLY HOLY HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY - through Christ and the powerful working of the Holy Spirit, we are children of the the One and Only True and Almighty God - if He did it for me I believe and trust He will do it for you Awesome God!
I am not 100% Percent sure if I agree with everything you say as you need to humble yourself to the Lord he already knows your petition but it's more than that. That's about the relationship about opening up to the Lord letting him in your heart mind soul and spirit and being connected. Sometimes God wants us to wait for one reason or another. Ever since I was 15 years old I have been praying for a Godly woman to marry. 40 years old and I have not dated in 20 years I thought it would never happen but I never gave up hope everyday I would pray about his glory love and I have now been dating a wonderful woman for the last nine months and I've been looking at rings. And if she is not the right one but I know God will always guide me to where I I need to be. Keep trusting in the Lord he may not answer you right away but he has the best interest for you. I believe and know God is sovereign. He answers our prayers according to His will and what He wants for the lives of his elect. From this truth and understanding, I know that whatever I ask in His name, He will answer my prayers for what is best for me whether yes, no, or wait and therefore I can rest in his wisdom for what is best for me since He is my loving Heavenly Father.
Gods answers are not always yes. They are also no and wait. The verses you quoted are out of context. The Bible says that he answers according to his will....not ours.

You always have to read the bible verses in its original context... God always listens to our petitions, yet sometimes the answer is no. What we ask will be given to us, as long as it's according to his will
I used to stutter a lot since sinve my childhood for several decades. And many people made fun of me. One day l knelt down and prayed to God and asked him to remove the stutter. Nothing happened but l felt God was telling me it will be OK. A few years later l found myself in the UK and found a job that depended on my talking to strangers all day. During one the first briefing l introduced myself to one Lady who immediately noticed that l had a stutter. She told me it will end with the job l was gonna be doing. Indeed within 2 months of doing that job l forgot that l had a stutter . I spoke fluently and nobody knew l ever had a stutter. So God solved the problem without the usual miracle. Indeed God does answer prayers but not exactly how or when we want it. Today l am stutter free and God didn't need to perform a special miracle except sending me to the right job 🙏

When I was 15 I prayed for my future wife, the type of woman she would be, the nature of her heart, and 4 years later, the Lord gave her to me, down to the last detail. Our Heavenly Father is so good and loves to bless his children. Praise the Lord. We are coming up on our 15 wedding anniversary.

I have an amazing story. One time I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. I started getting chills and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, and started crying. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.
I've been getting answered prayers for around 5 years since, because that visitation eliminated doubt and I follow Biblical instructions as best as I can.

So I prayed for him. "Father, double this man's ministry. Double his finances. Double his marital life, in Jesus holy name. Amen."
The next day he released a new video. He was standing on stage for a bit, smiling. Then he said "The Lord has just doubled his ministry. He's doubled his finances and He's doubled his marital life...!!
My heart started pounding from shock, because he was saying my exact prayer from the night before.
Then later that week another prayer just as impossible was answered. It went on and on like that for months. It still happens, but, I have less stories because I quit praying for myself.

I would prefer to live alone in a two story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a nice kitchen everything for myself. I will Never intend on having kids and never been married. Having a family cost a lot money over the long term, and I would prefer saving it so when I turn your age I can have financial freedom and lots of money saved at the bank.

GM, I know the bitter feeling of a lost cat. Over 10 years ago, my cat ran out the house like he normally does because he just loves the outdoors, and he would come back later that evening meowing let me in now… this time he hadn’t, and he was gone for days. A week had passed by and he still wasn’t home. I went to church that Sunday and the mother of the church (knowing what happened to my cat) prayed along with the congregation, a safe return for him.
I don’t remember having faith in that moment but they did, for me.
When I got back in, it was either that night or the next day, my cat had returned home… in bad shape (like the prodigal son) but he was home. He was nurtured back to good health, and he’s here with me now as if it never happened. May this serve as an encouragement as to what God is able to do for us and that he’s concerned about the things that concerns us. Bless you dear friend. And I’ll be praying for you as well.

Yep. It’s especially hard when you’ve been praying and struggling for well over a decade with no change in sight. You fight to keep your faith in check only to get beaten down by cruel reality every time. The only thing that I’ve learned is that faith is not for the faint hearted.
Remember that the Israelites wondered in the wilderness for 40 years! They also did many things to prolong that period. It’s important that we make sure we’re fully listening to, following, and SUBMITTING to god or we may prolong our own wilderness season. I’ll pray for you Jamie, God bless.

Trust is an action though. If you pray for something say to publish a novel. You won't just sit around and wait, you'll write. You'll write because you trust God will deliver. You'll take one step, God will take two. But you have to take that step and show God your faith. You'll act like it's a done deal and a person who acts that way works towards that goal with complete trust that it's gonna happen, they don't doubt.

This includes a trend that's very popular in America. The 'prosperity doctrine'. I have never believed in asking amiss (the prosperity doctrine or asking with selfish or lustful motives).
It's important to seperate our needs and wants when we make requests of the Father.
Sadly, most people are clueless about what these passages mean… Asking in his name has everything to do with being confirmed to his perfect will. Jesus’ life is shown to be completely and utterly submitted to the father in EVERY WAY. And that is what John is saying in those passages that say that. It has EVERYTHING TO DO with The Father’s will, not asking for whatever we want. When it says: ask for whatever you wish and It will be done for you John 15:7, if we do not look at what is immediately before that: if you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish…
It’s not this genie in a bottle scenario. We HAVE TO GET TO THE HEART OF WHAT John is pointing us to in what Jesus taught his disciples! John 13-16 was a giant encouragement from Jesus to his disciples because he was about to go away and be crucified. Their world was about to be turned upside down and he says I will send the helper who will bring to remembrance all that I have said to you. The context is so important in understand what Jesus is teaching! But we take it so out of context :)
God is not saying to us ask whatever we wish and he will do it, he IS SAYING I in you, and you in me, and in that place, our hearts are transformed and know His will and then whatever we ask, he will do it! It’s a process of incredible transformation from wanting and asking for worthless things we do not need or that are not that important, to being confirmed to and knowing His heart intimately so that what we ask for he was waiting to grant to us because the desire came from Him! Be careful with putting random words and thoughts in God’s mouth, he is not constantly speaking in your head, and he is not a chatterbox. Most of the time these are just your own thoughts. We definitely feel lead by the Spirit though as believers have the Spirit in them. Usually we are more clearly led by Him after praying and spending time with God, and by reading the Word, but this doesn’t mean God is speaking to you directly and clearly like he spoke with the Prophets in the Bible. Also, just to be clear whatever we ask in His name will be done because the Father will be glorified in the Son, so the thing we ask to be done has to be in line with the will of the Father and glorify Him, otherwise it will not be done.

10 Days ago I was super concerned that I had cancer and I’ve never been so afraid before in my life, it’s a feeling of dread I cannot describe in words - I prayed, cried out to our Almighty Father who has always been there for me, always protecting and helping me without fail - the condition cleared up, the doctors confirmed it and today I can say, I’m cleared of this terrible thing but my life will never be the same, I will honour and glorify our Holy Father who is ALWAYS faithful, always with us, without fail, now and forever - thank You Holy Father for the healing for Your Grace and Goodness - HOLY HOLY HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY - through Christ and the powerful working of the Holy Spirit, we are children of the the One and Only True and Almighty God - if He did it for me I believe and trust He will do it for you Awesome God!

I am not 100% Percent sure if I agree with everything you say as you need to humble yourself to the Lord he already knows your petition but it's more than that. That's about the relationship about opening up to the Lord letting him in your heart mind soul and spirit and being connected. Sometimes God wants us to wait for one reason or another. Ever since I was 15 years old I have been praying for a Godly woman to marry. 40 years old and I have not dated in 20 years I thought it would never happen but I never gave up hope everyday I would pray about his glory love and I have now been dating a wonderful woman for the last nine months and I've been looking at rings. And if she is not the right one but I know God will always guide me to where I I need to be. Keep trusting in the Lord he may not answer you right away but he has the best interest for you. Remember God has a plan for you he will not forsake you he will not leave you behind. Keep trusting in Him and keep praying

What the Christ did say ? to Christian fellows , If those who keeps on praying at me the Angle , that will be deceived and crazy at all that's becaused of you the lamb's wanted to preaching an answer from I the Lord who made you . The known that you should , that is the mankind should not depend on me the Angle in all your asks and wishes will not serve into your hands but for one or three items or asks will take into your hands ! I believe and know God is sovereign. He answers our prayers according to His will and what He wants for the lives of his elect. From this truth and understanding, I know that whatever I ask in His name, He will answer my prayers for what is best for me whether yes, no, or wait and therefore I can rest in his wisdom for what is best for me since He is my loving Heavenly Father.
Gods answers are not always yes. They are also no and wait. The verses you quoted are out of context. The Bible says that he answers according to his will....not ours.
Sometimes with Prayer the answer from Jesus is no.... He knows all and that's how it is..

Can we handle God’s no? Having faith in something is not a blank check to getting what we want if we have enough faith.
Having faith is understanding that God is able, but if He says no, still to God be the glory. Because He knows what’s best for us.

I used to stutter a lot since sinve my childhood for several decades. And many people made fun of me. One day l knelt down and prayed to God and asked him to remove the stutter. Nothing happened but l felt God was telling me it will be OK.
A few years later l found myself in the UK and found a job that depended on my talking to strangers all day. During one the first briefing l introduced myself to one Lady who immediately noticed that l had a stutter. She told me it will end with the job l was gonna be doing.
Indeed within 2 months of doing that job l forgot that l had a stutter . I spoke fluently and nobody knew l ever had a stutter. So God solved the problem without the usual miracle.
Indeed God does answer prayers but not exactly how or when we want it. Today l am stutter free and God didn't need to perform a special miracle except sending me to the right job 🙏
