Jamison might be the best part of SawBlaze. He was running Silent Spring last year at the first NHRL tourney of 2022 and he took a moment right before his match to wave at my step son who was holding a big sign he made. It made my son's day. Jamison took a close loss to Tothik that match but came all the back in the losers bracket to win the 3-lb tourney that day. Good for him.
The thing I like most about sawblaze is the amazing driving, mechanics and effort/total control. What sawblaze brings to the game is absolute awesomeness its a saw, hammer, and even a flame thower. Since I really like battlebots Ive been working on a Lego hammer saw model for a bot that I wish to build in the far future. One thing That would be amazing on sawblaze if they could mount the over kill blades in to their front spikes. And happy late birthday Jamison GO!!!!!!!!
What I love the most about SawBlaze is how Jamison specifically cites S.O.B as the impetus for Sawblaze. I love that Sawblaze has taken a niche, but effective design from the Comedy Central era and made it absolutely phenomenal.
This guy said what I would. SOB and TDD are examples of designs that not only went out of the norm, but actually did well. And Sawblaze did the same! Although I guess you could technically say Sawblaze is still a vert spinner with wedges lol
Jamison Go is not only a phenomenal driver and competitor, but he is also a very genuine person. Seeing him interact with other builders is such a treat! One of the most humble guys in the pit!
What I love most about Sawblaze is the commitment to performing better every year, and looking amazing while doing it. Watching it dominate and cut up the legend that is SOW back in Season 4 was a real passing of the torch moment and I've been glued to the screen for every Sawblaze fight ever since, win or lose.
One of the things I appreciate most about Sawblaze, not only do you throw fire into the mix but you go the extra mile to make your flame green! That's what I like the most ;)
Hey Zack and Diana, sorry about that loss with the blade. The theory sounded good but in the end not so much :( What I like most about SAWBLAZE is his flame Thrower + Hammersaw combo, plus Jamison's cute little Ready-Stance!
Thanks for the great video Zach. My favorite thing about Sawblaze is Jamison Go's driving, honestly. Just relentless and intense, never halfway, just full out after the win, every time.
It has to be how great of an ambassador for the sport Jamison is. He's such a great competitor and it comes out with how he handles himself and Sawblaze in the box.
Oh geez, there's so much to like about Sawblaze! Jamison himself and his driving skills are of course contenders, the crazy amount of power in that saw (carving through Minotaur, getting so embedded in Hypershock that the match had to be called, all that stuff is incredible! But I think it's the little things I love the most. Specifically, even after the cataclysmic explosion from the Uppercut fight, keeping that flamethrower on there. After all, is it really Sawblaze if it doesn't Saw AND Blaze? Love the bot, hoping to keep seeing great things this season and many more in the future!
What I like about Sawblaze is his creator. Sawblaze was created by a master in the bot world. His work with shuffling bots is amazing! Sawblaze’s creator ,Jamison Go, has done so much to move the bot community forward with his work especially with NHRL. He also makes the Chinese community proud!! Keep up the great work JG!
What I love most about Sawblaze, honestly is how competitors in the box are close friends in the shops. Thanks, both of you, for demonstrating good sportsmanship and friendship for my kids.
For the bot itself, Sawblaze has that menacing, iconic look that lives up to the hype! (And Sawblaze is my son's favorite bot of all time!)
What I like most about Jasmison Go and Sawblaze is the extreme development each year. Alongside RotatoR, I think that Sawblaze is one of the most improved robots from their rookie season, with updates, tweaks and fixes each year to make the robot as competitive as possible. An example of this is of course with Megatron - updating a smaller weight class design to gain tips for the heavyweight is genius! The difference from current Sawblaze to original Sawblaze is striking, and not only has the team been able to keep up with the level of competition, but also advance to world class standard. Few teams can boast this incredible curve of performance and this is why I love Sawblaze.
What I love the most about SawBlaze is Jamison and what he brings to the sport. I met him in 2018 at Makers Faire Orlando and it was my first ever competition. The man sat there and chatted with me in the pits answering all the questions a new competitor and Battlebots fan had! I love the Green Flame Too!! FIRE FIRE FIRE!
I thought y'all had it for sure after how excited you were about having the extra weight for the magnets. Now knowing you just had magnet powder instead, well, that'll do it.
Well, I have been a huge fan of Sawblaze since season 2, and it won me over with all the sparks that it caused in its fights, it is exciting and intense in the driving. But I think the thing I like the most is the team. They have CONSTANTLY redesigned the bot, changed so many things about it, with the new chassis in Season 3, the hammersaw in season 4, the improved ground game in season 5, the new forks and side armor in season 6, and all the ways it was refined and improved this season. And win or lose, they always want to improve. It is just a mentality that really makes Sawblaze the way it is, Jamo the way he is, and the team the way they are. Thanks both of you!

It's Hamshake! It wrecked my bot at January NHRL and it was a blast! My favorite thing about SawBlaze is that Jamison is a great competitor but also a genuinely nice person. We got to chat and laugh about our silly bots before our fight, and the fight was just as much fun.
We love Sawblaze’s driver. My 4yo son’s name is also Jameson, and he LOVES to cheer on his namesake and “Sawbaze”
For sawblaze I first fell in love with their "W" shaped wedge now fork design. I felt it was awesome new design that I haven't really seen before and I thought it worked out really well. Plus the paint scheme is just so beautiful I love the bright green and black color combo and then you throw in the flame thrower and wow a green flame thrower!! I love it!!
But I absolutely love seeing you two together. This is what I love so much about battlebots is watching the teams get along and help each other out. It really brought me a lot of joy watching this and you two interacting. Also love seeing hammer saws grow in the sport it's a nice change up for sure!!! Originally I wasn't sure about saw bots but seeing scorpios and sawblaze and how much the teams believed in their bots made me a believer and quickly became my favorites.
the two things I love most about Sawblaze
1,) watching it explode when it gets punched
2,) seeing the never-ending pursuit of perfection or the closest thing you can possibly get to it
I love Sawblaze as a character. Much like a cartoon it has a recognizable silhouette, and feels like a unique and essential member of a cast. Gigabyte, lock jaw and huge have that same vibe
What I love most has to be Just Jameson as a builder. I watch Norwalk and when he's there he's always answering questions and he's actually very approachable. Just like a lot of other builders are, including you and Diana.
The thing I like the most about Sawblaze is Jamison's and the team's constant hunt for perfection, without getting too "stick-up-the-butt" if you know what I mean. The way that he often points out all the mistakes he makes in post-fight interviews, even after he has a dominant win, and constantly thinks "I can do better than that," without being too aggro and "imperfection is shameful and weak." It kind of reminds me of Paul Ventimiglia.
Speaking of Paul, it's kind of a bummer we never got to see him and Jamo duke it out. SawBlaze/Bite Force would've been a slobberknocker for sure.
What I love about sawblaze is the patients it takes to drive and line up those perfect shots. So I guess I like the driver the best.
SawBlaze is SUCH an amazing and important bot to me, since it was the one that got me into both BattleBots and combat robotics as a whole. The first match I ever saw was their WCIV opening bout against ROTATOЯ, and I was HOOKED the moment I saw your brother in saw bring its diamond tipped saw down onto ROTATOЯ. I spent that whole weekend marathoning WCIV and Savage Builds until I passed out on the couch! Easily some of the most fun I've ever had watching TV.
So I have Jamison Go and his team, as well as Victor Soto and his team and everybody else in this amazing community to thank for getting me into the sport and encouraging me to further pursue a career in electronics and robotics. I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for you all. I was at the first two days of WCVII's filming and it was the most fun I've had in years!!! It was SO exciting to finally get to see so many of the bots that got me into it all in person, and SawBlaze in particular is an absolutely gorgeous looking machine! When I eventually meet Jamison Go in person, I would absolutely love to personally thank him. He's one of my biggest inspirations for competing with my own bots sometime in the future, or even just being part of a pre-existing team that already has their own bot.

What I love about Sawblaze is the way Jamison Go totally looks like a Mortal Kombat fighter getting ready for the next round whenever he's about to drive.
First off, I love how as soon as both of you were done admiring the blade the next thing you did was look for a place to put it on your bots. What I like the most about sawblaze is how easily it can bully the other bot across the box. Also, that weapon hits hard. I will forever remember you smacking minotaur and batteries going up in flames.
Back when I was watching season 4, Sawblaze caught my attention on how that robot competes like I love how the introduce the powerful hammer saw the idea of how it works. Aside from the destructive weapon, Sawblaze is also a one of the best control bot because of its dustpan wedge and low ground forks. In addition, the fire-breathing weapon also caught my attention. Today, Sawblaze keep improving, become for powerful and more control and aggressive just like the fight between Sawblaze and Hypershock. Overall, back to that season Jamison Go (best driver for me) and Sawblaze become my top 1 seed. Until now, they are still my top 1 robot and team in combat robotics and hoping and rooting that in this season World Championship 7 they win the giant nut. Jamison Go and Sawblaze inspired me a lot to build my first robot combat and today I built 5 robot combats. Thank you for being my inspiration. Keep inspiring people Jamison. My favorite thing about SawBlaze (aside from the fact it always puts on a great show win or lose) has to be its captain, Jamo perfectly encapsulates everything this sport is about, he's willing to help others to get their bots improved, he's always learning and iterating his bots win or lose so it can be a better bot next comp, he's also about having fun and not just being ultra competitive all the time (If you haven't seen bots like Tale of Three Hams or Hamshake, you should look them up, it's an experience lol), and he just seems like a nice guy from everything I've seen and in servers I'm in with him like NHRL's.
SawBlaze is one of my favourite bots! I love how it has stayed true to its vision despite a vert meta and actually kicked ass while doing so. And the Green Flame is glorious making for a spectacular show :)
what i like about SAWBLAZE the most is the spectacular fire ball vs UPPERCUT and also the take no prisoners way Jamison drives.
Tbf One of my favorite things about Sawblaze is Jamison. Yes It is an absolute beast of a bot, but with his driving abilities and his ability to control most fights by his relentless attack style and the way he captures ppl with his forks , it takes the bot to another level. it is like a secondary weapon, in my opinion. My girlfriend and I both have our favorite bots, and Jamison is by far my favorite. It's funny because she loves Skorpios, so last Thursday was epic for us. Good luck on the rest of the season. I love everything about Sawblaze (and Skorpios!) 💚💙. But if I had to pick a favorite part, it would have to be the green flame. So unique and such a fun addition to Battlebots! 💚🔥

Lots of the my favorite battlebots are favorites because the team is entertaining. My favorite part about Sawblaze is just that as I've always been very entertained by Jamison Go's. His battle stance when going into a match as well as some of the trash talk during a match especially from way back when Sawblaze first participated in Battlebots was so much fun. Will never forget comments such as "Bring me Tombstone" and from your recent match, the "I want a new sword baby" from Jamison, a few of my favorite Sawblaze moments.
The SawBlaze team is relentless and aggressive in the box. Never a boring fight. Also, GREEEEEEN FIRRRREEEEEE

Genuinely think the best aspect of sawblaze is it’s skillful driving and the effort you guys take to practice and gain experience. Even in lower weight classes, megatron kicked ass!
I love how sawblaze is consistently reliable and always puts on an amazing show, its so destructive and I love how it deals so much damage to other bots and never lets up no matter who their opponent is.
What i like about saw blaze is that impressive cool looking bot. It literally got me into battlebots, it has so much control and such a good driver in jameson. The idea of a spinner mounted onto a hammer makes it so precise. Same for scorpios btw!!!

My favorite thing about Sawblaze is... everything? I tried to pick a thing: the weapon (and how destructive it is), the green fire, the shape (including the dustpan era -- I miss dustpan Sawblaze), but really it's the whole package deal. It's a contender of a robot in a color scheme with focus. No gimmicks, just awesome.
I like the design the best about sawblaze. something about having a giant dustpan setup to just bully bots around, and the incredibly powerful hammer saw along with the excellent driving of Jamison and the bot as a whole, not only is it incredibly cool, but it also does very well. And I like how they changes the wheels, and gave Sawblaze wheel guards. A neat fix to a big issue
I love that I think about sawblaze everytime I have to sweep my floors and like I get rid of the dirt and dust that piles up in my house with my broom and dustpan, sawblaze too get rid of the scrap it produced from its dominateing drive style and the bashing of its hammersaw it still manages to keep the box clean with its built in dustpan. Plus that GREEN IS FIRE!!!!
What I love about Sawblaze is the agility the bot has and the skill Jamison has driving Sawblaze. Too bad the magnets failed. It really through the balance off when raising and lowering the blade on Skorpios.
Sawblaze is a beautiful robot but what I love most is the team. They are wonderful. I love how they are happy to interact with fans on their social media and other places like reddit. I love how they respect other robots and their roboteers and how they learn from them to evolve Sawblaze into an even better robot. They are just so happy to be at Battlebots and support everyone including fans.

The Jamison stance
What i love most about Sawblaze is that it really has a theme. I've always liked these bots (scorpios as well, but also bots like tantrum/blip, witch doctor, etc.) better over bots with a generic paintjob as it sells you more on the robot. It gives the robot more personality then just a metal box to destroy other metal boxes.
My favourite thing about Sawblaze would have to be it overall presence in the arena, while a lot bots try to look like animals or racecars Sawblaze just looks like a straight up killing machine and I love that.
What I love about sawblaze most is that it’s the bot that got my two youngest sons to fall in love with battlebots. It has become a show that me and my four sons can sit and watch together and they go wild when sawblaze fights!

I like Sawblaze because you never know when Jamison will make a big mistake and present a big firework. It's really fun to watch him counterwork his own hard-to-drive robot
The thing I love about Sawblaze is the driving style of Jameson Go, he's just so relentless with every single attack. As soon as you hear "Let the bot battle begin" Jameson will never give you a second to catch your breath, he'll sweep you up as if you weigh nothing. Plus, not many bots have a catch phrase as good and catchy has Slash and Burn! Keeping up amazing us and getting better and better every season.
My favorite thing about sawblaze is all the engineering, design philosophy, and strategy choices they make that allow them to fight with less chaos and randomness. Every fight they are in feels like a chess game and elevates the beauty of the sport. In a sport that sometimes overly relies on insane kinetic hits for entertainment, sawblaze entertains with defense and patience.
I felt bad that the announcers said "The fans wanted a hammer saw vs hammer saw fight, this was a huge disappointment". I would love to point them toward your Sword vs Fork poll video and show the comments because clearly people were PUMPED to see this happen! :P
I really enjoyed seeing Swordios in action! As a fan of both of you guys and your Bots, I was NOT disappointed in the change of weapon!
And omg, you actually put that sword through airline security! I have a gear from SubZero and after being told it could be confiscated, left it in my backpack in the vehicle before going through airline security. Think it was a good idea for me to leave it behind because we even went through American Airlines(?) and due to 911, they were SUPER careful regarding this stuff!

Tbh, I always really liked SawBlaze's color combo! It's a simple answer, but I really love bright green on black. I also loved when it used the green flames, I like to call it "Nuclear Flame" due to the bright green color. I can personally see the Bot as sharp-tongued, but also a smooth taker as well. Maybe that's how Hyper Blaze came to be. ;)
And let's be real, JG is quite the looker himself, haha! ;D
The thing I love about SawBlaze is the relationship between driver and robot. Many bots strategies can just be ground game and always point weapon at bot. But I like that SawBlaze has this control element needed to be able to deal serious damage. It allows so much strategy into taking on each opponent. Also, it feels like the bot has everything to gain from an amazing driver being able to use its precision effectively. And Jamison Go does this to a T, showing off all this bot can do. That is why SawBlaze is my favorite Battlebot.
My favorite thing about Sawblaze and Jamison Go is the impact they made once they entered the BattleBots world; long **barbed** forks that captured bots and a flame to roast them (reminiscing Complete Control), PLUS a hammer saw (sheer force is awesome). Also, all the cool new things Go is introducing to the Combat Robotics world outside of BB; I love the experimentation with shuffle bots, and Silent Spring is *chef's kiss*.
What I like the most is acid-green flames! Looking cool and eerie.

As much as Jameson is a master of driving and kinetic energy kills it's the massive amount of flame that Sawblaze puts out as he's destroying other bots that I really appreciate.

My favorite thing about SawBlaze is its weapon synergy. The interaction between the hammer saw, interchangeable forks/wedge, and green flames is mechanically beautiful! I also think SawBlaze should win the “Coolest Loss Award” when its gas tank exploded in the Battlebox (i.e., SawBlaze vs. Uppercut).
The best part of SawBlaze is the fact they're great all around. Jamison is super talented and he doesn't tell people he is, he shows it with an ass kicking. That and his team puts so much time into the bot. And the towel spin is a fun detail. Also, there's no such thing as a boring Sawblaze fight. Even when they lose. And the flamethrower makes any bot much cooler.
I think my favorite thing about sawblaze is is the power , and or Jamison’s pre fight stance. The reason why I love the power is is just how it can get stuck In robots like how it did with Hypershock, and the pushing power. The reason why I like Jamison’s pre fight stance is because he looks like he’s about to jump in there jd fight the bots himself

The standout thing about sawblaze is the balance with the forks and the rear wheelie bar. They've overcome so many of the quirks to there robot it gets better every season.

The best part of Sawblaze is how much they improve each and every year. The team is constantly learning from every single loss and win and it's incredible to see each iteration of the robot do better and better. Also I love MegaTRON from NHRL so I'll take any hammer saw action I can get
What I like most about Sawblaze is the blade design. Such an iconic profile that adds a persona to the bot whilst simultaneously being able to tear through the thick armour of modern BattleBots
Sawblaze has historically stood out to me because of how *scary* it looks. The wide terrifying angular metal on the front has always been so cool to me, living up to the megatron name as well. However, my favorite part of sawblaze now its the faint aroma of ham

I love how Sawblaze is able to have quick iteration thanks to smaller scale testing on MegatRON. It allows for quicker iteration and maturation of any changes/improvements than a large chunk of the robots in the field, giving them a definitive competitive edge.
Ahhhhh it makes me so happy to see ya'll visit the Jamo and Sawblaze! My fav feature of Sawblaze if of course that it is driven by the geniuses behind Hamshake and a Tale of 3 Hams. When you have those kind of masterminds what could possibly go wrong?

The think I like the most about Sawblaze is Jamieson himself. I always hear people talking about how great of a driver he is. Problem is battlebots has a lot of great drivers. I watched jamerson fight small robots online and that's when I realized how great of a driver he really is. Those little bots are a pain in the butt to control sometimes. So much speed with so little room. I also like that during a fight. He's leaned over and rocking back and forth with intensity. Amazing to watch.

SawBlaze has been my favorite robot since the beginning tbh 💚 I lovee the aesthetics of it, and especially the extra effort for the green flame. OH and the dragon shaped weapon? it's gotta be one of the most badass weapons in the whole sport. I simply appreciate SawBlaze's commitment to make a super cool looking cohesive bot that still kicks butt time and time again. SawBlaze truly IS bestblaze
What I like about Sawblaze is that we can see how they iterate on the design each year, whether it be changing from saw to hammersaw, the fork config, or the wheel design. It is always great to see what changes have been made, while a lot of other robots don't change much in terms of external features.
What I love most about sawblaze?
Sawblaze == entertaining fight. It doesn't do dull pushing matches and also does not go for these anticlimactic one hit your guts are on the floor knockouts. Just epic brawls.
It brings a relatively rare strategy (that is apparently gaining in popularity 🙂) to the game that is probably (I'm not a builder) hard to prepare for, which keeps the other teams on their toes.
And I don't know how they do it, but that green flame is gorgeous.
My favorite thing about Sawblaze isn't even about the bot it's about Jamison himself he's always so funny yet so serious when time comes to get the bot loaded into the box.
But getting to the bot the most impressive things about Sawblaze in my opinion are the balance between beauty, and effectiveness. The hammer saw blade itself is a prime example of such it's so beautiful but it has to be machined in such a way that it doesn't throw the bot off balance I have extreme respect for asymmetrical blades on combat robots because It takes a lot of patience and skill to balance them perfectly because if you don't it could very well destroy your whole robot.
The Sawblaze vs Whiplash fight from Season 5 is what got me back on board with robot combat, and is the whole reason I started building one of my own. I think I've enjoyed watching its evolution more than any other bot. Jamison makes huge refinements to it every year, yet they hit the mark every time. Makes me wonder if Sawblaze and hammersaws have even more untapped potential left to find.
Its always interesting to hear how designs came to be and how they were shaped. I love the Mega Ron to MegatRon name change!

The list of reasons why I love SawBlaze is so numerous, it is legit my second favorite reboot bot, immediately right behind Skorpios. I love the green. I love the fire. I love the dragon. My favorite overall thing, however, has to be the aggressive control it gets over the opponents. The way SawBlaze will keep just jamming themselves at the opponent even with the weapon down. It reminds me so damn much of how SOB was driven it is amazing finals run in 5.0, and that run is what made dustpan saws, and what later would evolve into hammersaws, my favorite type of robot to see. Slash and Burn, Jamison! Slash and Burn!
Loved how Zach brought Megatron's arch nemesis Optimus Prime. Very funny since a new transformers movie is coming out. I honestly love the catch phrase about Sawblaze, slash and burn. But my favorite thing about Sawblaze is the way it can blow up when hit by an Uppercut. 😉
What do I like most about SawBlaze? Oh god, that's a tough one. He's one of my favorites, there are so many things... Well, I can start by talking about what I really think is amazing: The fact that SawBlaze is such a strong and feared robot even without following the Vert 4W meta. Of course there are other powerful robots that aren't Vert 4, like Minotaur or Huge, but man... SawBlaze is another level. Another thing that makes me love this robot is its team. There is someone, a person who stays every fight, the whole fight, endlessly twirling a shirt. This is funny and unique, it certainly deserves my mention.
What I love about sawblaze is that is is so durable it can takes bites and keep on going and win also it’s a very inspiring bot

I think I'm a bit late, but what I love about it is the detail in the weapon design and the color scheme.
I like sawblaze because it is a great combination of great driving, speed, power, and durability. Sawblaze and Scorpios have both been in my top 5 favorite bots for years.
I'm just patiently awaiting the full-scaled arrival of Tale of Three Hams to BattleBots.
TSA does in fact have Battlebots fans. I encountered one trying to check an antweight at the Las Vegas airport.
The thing I like most about Sawblaze? I can't think of a "boring" fight they've ever been involved in. The design of the robot naturally lends itself to drama and even when they've lost, they've made a good showing or had the good taste to explode.
