Really like the jig, but will probably stick tot he bandsaw for making circles. Can use the jig for other butt clenching cuts and will make one next. Thanks for sharing, and don't let the youtube nannies bug you. Good work and good ideas.

I make circles the same way. I made the seat for my stool video the same way as you. One thing you forgot to do, trim your nails. LOL
    Good video, Thanks
    James.

In the name of efficiency, and to demonstrate true mastery of the saw, he should trim his nails on the turning blade while cutting the wood

This is one of the best jigs for a table saw to have.

It would be a lot less work and a bit safer to use a hole saw bit on a drill press.

That's true if your hole saw doesn't have much run out.

My thought too. I was nervous seeing his fingers so close to the blade.

@@mammothfilms I couldn't watch it. There's a three stooges film where they hand Curly a circular saw. I screamed, don't give him a circular saw and turned my head away from the tv.

In England you can buy a set of tank cutters which are pretty cheap that you fit on a drill and make a perfect circle.

Are we taking bets on how long before some RUclips safety nanny makes a comment about being that close to the blade? :)
