The first automatic column shift I ever bought took some explaining. I knew what I needed to do, but I didn't know which way to push or pull the lever so I could put it in gear and didn't want to force it. I never had that issue with automatic cars that have the shifter on the transmission tunnel.
Debating to rustoleum. My buddy did on his bed and it came out good. Thanks to zane I scored a “scrapped” flatbed with 4 good side tool boxes so I’ll probably use those on it.
Flatbed looks great fellas!! 😁👍 Glad you got the truck back on the road Tyler. Have fun and happy wrenching 🔧 🔩

Yeah in today’s century I would think it’s a lot less common to not know.

Typically the law requires it
Nice job, Tyler. Will you blast then powder coat or just give it a Rust_O_Leum finish? Transmission issue at 168K?

Are you going to put in something to protect the cab? You don't want cargo flying through the back window. Don't overlook safety!
Safety 3rd!!! Yes there will be a cab guard and a welding machine mounted up close to the cab
