I am a senior clerk and have some idea about COL leave. First of all, you have to have apply any kind of leave including COL within 2 months. There are many employees who go on absent, so within 2 months they need to apply. And then your clerk needs to submit a revised muster after getting your leave sanctioned by the competent authority. Now coming to your COL question, COL means commuted Leave. 2 LHAP= 1 COL. For one sick leave your 2 LHAP leave gets deducted. If you apply LHAP in place of COL, then you will be paid half amount, so in order to get rid from this problem, COL is preferred. What if you don't have LHAP?? What will you do in that case if you don't have enough LHAP? So, for this case you can apply your SL with LAP and in case if you don't have LAP also then you can go through CL. Remember, CL and LAP don't get combined together, so you have to choose wisely. Under upload documen section, you need to upload the fit memo given by your doctor in the form of PDF. And then you have to send it to your level 8 officer or officer who is the head of your office. Most of the employees work under a supervisor or senior section engineer or SS so in that case you need to forward your Leave request to them. Since your sick leave is given by a doctor who is a officer, so your level 7 post employees don't have authority to sanction it..he/she will forward it to the officer under whom he works.
