I graduated from the Univ of Arizona 1968 and went to USMC OCS Quantico in June that year. We did not have any of this Prep stuff prior. Luckily, I had run track and cross country and did lots of sports in HS. Went in doing 3 pull ups and came out doing 14. OCS is tough, for sure, physically. During Vietnam Nam, if you blew OCS, you went to the Fat Man Platoon and tried it again or you became an enlisted Marine. You did not go home to mommy. We only had one guy, out of 35 go to the Fat Man Platoon, sorry, that is what it was called. I went on to become a Naval Aviator and flew 1000 hrs in Vietnam.

Your videos are gold, they're basically OCS online. If anyone fails after watching these, it's on them!

This video is a gem. I’ll be incorporating this into my regimen at least twice a week with my distance runs. Thanks!

I’ve watched almost 2 dozen of your videos and this has been incredibly helpful. I am applying for the November boards and this is so great to help me plan my workouts.
Thank you so much for your entire channel!

Thank you for the moto and informative content, sir. I ship off to OCC-232 on Sep 7 and your videos have helped me bolster not only my physical conditioning but most importantly my mental toughness. As Goggins would say: "It's what you during the times you want to quit that determines who you are." This workout forced me to find my inner most reason to keep on until the end!

This is awesome! So stoked to see your station doing this with your candidates. I had some major health issues right before I commissioned that disqualified me and it’s been years since I’ve been physically able to really train. I’m trying to get back on my feet to serve in my city’s fire department. The training for the USMC was painful but motivating. I’ve been looking for some stuff to do and I love your video! I just saw your other video on how to make the pvc “rifle.” I’ll definitely make one just to spice up some of my workouts and if I come across a candidate or recruit I can help them train. Thank you!

This was a great video and gave me some more ideas for my poolees. I have about a year left on recruiting duty and I’m always looking for extra ways to work with my guys.

People coming in have so much useful knowledge to be successful. Question is are they using it. I came in 2000 all I had was a book called BOOT😂 by Daniel Da Cruz

help, I'm trying to find Navy OCS videos and keep getting redirected to Marine OCS. This will probably come in handy anyway with the Marine Drill Instructors for Navy now.
