Only when shooting for accuracy. It allows for more predictable and controlled trigger staging. One starts of by shooting left but with training that can easily be corrected. This finger position doesn’t lend itself well to speed shooting but PPC1500 (which is what this specific model is meant for) doesn’t really require it.
what roller size is installed in the gun to get this trigger type? my old ratzeburg is night impossible to stage with the roller it came with (and the others got lost among one of the owners afaik)
This is a number 2 I believe. I’ve tried the different rollers and with practice could stage the trigger with all of them. I’ve never seen a ratzeburg lockwork in person- can you adjust the sear angle? The modern lock work does that which, in my experience, helps with more precise staging than the change of rollers did.
@@Sumitdelhi uhhh, oh dear, this is the first time i've ever heard of adjusting the sear angle on any korth honestly all i do know is that old korths have most of their stuff mirrored compared to the new ones do you happen to have a link to some information regarding the sear adjustment that includes pictures?
