  • In the first episode of season seven, we go behind-the-scenes as the men travel to Jersey. The players take part in the gruelling misoji, compete in a high-jump competition, and bond as they prepare for the Autumn Nations Series. 🌹

People often complain about rugby's engagement with social media. But this series is world class. Thank you RFU

Love the new depth into different professional cliques in the squad. Didn’t think of it but makes total sense.

Does anyone actually care what these people have to say? Just show us the training. These videos don't actually give any insight. It's just a bunch of stock clips with someone talking over the top. Show us a full gym session or something.

The "why" is far more interesting than the "how", and this series gives a great overview of the different ways that they prepare the team for the weekend and why they pick the methods that they do

Get over yourself, it's free content. They couldn't show a full anything anyway as other teams can watch this themselves. Even the public training sessions are small training run outs they don't mind showing people, they wouldn't show the proper stuff.

Thanks for your opinion, David. In response to your question, yes, I believe people do actually care what these people have to say.

I liked the cross training with the beach activity, the swimming and paddling.

You ever think that there’s a reason that professional sports teams don’t post full training sessions? They’re training will involve calls and strategies they’ll want to keep secret and most S&C coaches don’t show their gym sessions for free.

All of this is obviously very good for the squad.......
..........don’t see why it needs to be filmed - certainly broadcast to the public. It’s not that interesting really.
All we care about are the results.
That and the horrendous Twickenham tickets prices - and the poor value for money.

Jack mate, maybe this series isn´t for you. If someone puts up a poster in a town square that says 'guitar lessons available', like you don't get people in the town going: 'I don't want to play guitar! I want to play the piano you piece of shit!

Well the numerous All or Nothing and Hard Knocks type series that continue to be produced across various sports would suggest you are in the minority with your opinion

Way back when in the 80s, when I got into swimming laps in a pool (ocean swimming in the summer), I stopped running except at training, two nights a week, doing the various drills and such, and on Saturdays when playing. Got up to swimming a mile in thirty-five minutes in a pool. Probably saved my knees doing that overall. Later I picked up running, after retiring from play, and then it was half swimming, half running. I also started to referee, so running at least three days a week became necessary for being able to keep up with play on Saturdays.
