Right! It really opens the pool for some crazy stuff like angry Omnath! Personally my favorite is getting dragon broodmother and koma on the field! If you thought one was bad get ready!

I'm in the same boat. I only bought one deck I made for myself on my phone and it was a thraximundar commander with the sole intention to screw over my wives progenitus and protection deck

Despite playing against my friends omnath, locus of all only just now have I realized that the mana off the second ability can happen off of a card that isn’t three different colors.
My confidence in my reading comprehension is in shambles.

How can you stop the risen reef combo? You said its a may ability but doesnt that only change where you put the card? (at 8:08)
Right so if you put it in your hand instead of the battlefield it’ll end the loop. No angry Omnath triggers = no Risen reef triggers. 😁

Why not adding Seedborn Muse and some similiar effect to geberate a lot of mana every single turn and close up the game casting Torment of Hailfire or any other x spell?
I don’t want to make Omnath a target. Float 20 mana and there’s no way you untap with him.
@@decktechsfordecks i understand but Omnath is 5 colors, you can run every single card in magic history in the deck to protect your Commander and close up matches in a few round with him.
You definitely can it’s just not the route I wanted to take. If I did that strat I’d build the deck completely different hard focusing on effect that double or even triple mana like nyxbloom ancinet and doubling cube. Then the rest of the deck would be hard core protection.

No that’s just a figure of speech. If a commander draws you cards or ramps you people will refer to it as ramp/card draw in the command zone

Yea sadly elementals or at least this version isn’t that budget friendly. I will say tho if you cut green sleeves, Korvold, terror of the peaks, sylvan library, smothering tithe, and vampiric tutor, that’ll make the deck roughly $200 cheaper
