i working just with abb irb 2400 , many this kind for welding and they have impact sensor or for this kind in this video emergy stop is integrated in working station, if one error apear process is stoped
is drag polishing a cheaper option or dose it make more problems, was in a factory in 1969 and others long ago and the men polishing in such factories would put todays work force to shame along with the robot, LOL
+M&T I was born into a metal polishing family business and agree, the polishers of the past generation would make that robot look slow. I was actually getting bored just watching it and wanted to grab it out of its hand and finish it myself.
George Mavridis I see some other videos of robot polishing and you are right there are to slow I can do beat that robot hiring a employer will do more than the robot and the employee with other works but that robot is program for one specific job
but if not for that robot you need to invest in training a person to do that job and then make sure that he doesnt leave your company...even then he doesnt work 24x7 like that robot
@@georgemavridis3243 The robot is always available to work and its a completely robust and repeatable process with extreme precision. I am sure you would not be able to compete with that. No 2 parts can be exactly the same done by a human.
thats a rubish robot, some belts and electric motor and its a robot, no way, and robot cand do de work right hundred times after one programming cycle, in a perfect condition, bye
... and my grandma - can swing and dance again - TNX KUKA
I've been doing similar project. may i ask if this robot have some kind of force sensor/control? it look so smooth.
Mesmerizing. Absolutely Phenomenal!
yea, with the newer versions its correct what you say. but we worked with older Kuka's (bout 15 years ago) , and those didnt have that safety
Dey took our jerbs!
How much price for this Polishing machine (Average)?
what kind of camera are you use for scanning?

Hello Larry, have you found a solution for your application yet?

But the Robot never gets tired and has never a bad day :)

Well, this can always happen, with anything. Everything can break, even you ;)
all robot have emergy stop, or safety in teahpendant, almost all
That big of a robot for that small of a part :\ oh well, awesome robot by the way.
You don't have to pay the person. That's why they use robots.
hi
good evening
its funny if 1 of the sensors is broke or you have a software error in the middle of the proces, then the robot starts throwing shit randomly =D
25k for a robotic arm, or 50k for some guy to do it 1/4 as fast lol soon we will all be replaced by robots

almost all , indeed. =) /watch?v=wjZtFnqgOcA
The project would be much easier, faster and cheaper by using active force compliant tools!!! We do that for a living mh@ferrobotics.com
you make it sound as if kuka robots are perfect, trust me , they are not. Nothing is perfect, and everywhere can occur an error. BYE
