Introduction to STM32CubeMonitor

Is it possible to display not just user-variables, but peripheral values? For example, I imagine it would be less than real-time, but could you monitor a timer's count value (htim6.Instance->CNT or TIM6->CNT)?
If not, any recommended third party tools? Segger's J-Trace PRO + SystemView / Ozone?

so it is 2021 and we hear audio quality from 1960... almost unbearable to listen to!
